2025-01-22 | Helpful but while recently using the app I realized that when you crop and save your imported pictures they don't go into their own folder anymore. Maybe it's just mine, but they've had their own file automatically for any photos you crop but suddenly stopped going into it and I even tried deleting a good few thinking it was a space issue. Nope, just confused..
2025-01-04 | Impossible to get support for this app, which is crashing after I dared to rename one of the looks. Of course, if I delete and reinstall the app, it will likely work again, but until then I'm unable to use it. There is no information on how to backup or extract looks from Snapseed so I can back them up and reinstall them once I delete/update the app. The support email listed in the description is not valid, and there is almost no information in Support section on Google, and no community forums.
2025-01-03 | Have been using SS for several years, and I've learned what it does good👍 & when I go to another app. 1 of my favorite tools is Double Exposure, but as far as I'm concerned, it's now broken. SS can no longer access the folders I want (which, on my S9, I can still use, no problem), forcing me 2 jump thru hoops 2 get what I want. Don't use it anymore, but there's still plenty of other things that keep me coming back. Here's hoping you do something.
2024-12-20 | The new update is doodoo. It no longer allows me to find my photo albums saved onto my phones internal storage. It only syncs with Google Photos. Which for whatever reason does not organize my photos into albums like my internal storage. Therefore, I have to scroll through hundreds of photos to try and find all the ones from the album I'm trying to edit. I ended up uninstalling the newer version and downloading an older version that works as it should.
2024-12-18 | I've been using this app for 6+years. It's the best photo editing software for phones, hands down. But recently, I updated the app, and now it no longer has access to all of my photos/folders. It doesn't ask for the permission for full media access either. It makes it so I can't access all my images in app. I can't use the app if I can't find my files on it. I don't know what to do now.
2024-12-18 | Still my favorite Android app for post-processing phone pics. Please make the text function work with carriage returns. Also add text function to be able to copy a text and paste same text layered on top of another, moving with arrow buttons for offsetting a tiny bit at a time to simulate shadowing to make text pop and more legible. Thanks
2024-12-10 | I get that it's a niche usage, but all I wanted to do was change the hue of an image, which this has almost no easy way to do, if any. I have never seen such a... Sensationalized way of designing software, and I mean that every bit of editing mimics common buzzwords, but it hardly includes common sense items. Just another app begging for my attention, and refusing to offer basic amenaties. If I'm wrong, it's still clunky and hard to figure out, and that's why I couldn't use it.
2024-12-09 | I've been using this app for at least 2yrs and have loved it! But the past couple of months, the app isn't able to consistently export/save my photos. I've uninstalled & reinstalled the app multiple times, made sure I have the most recent version, & checked my permissions. Most of the time now it won't export or save my edited photo. Then randomly, it will saves/export a photo. But the next photo I work on, it won't save/ export. Not sure what's happened. Sadly now, looking for another editor.
2024-11-25 | I really like this app, but recently (last day or two) the "expand" feature just expands pictures just as blackness, not what's in the picture. I've tried several pictures, even, as a test case, ones that I've used this feature on in the past, and even those just come out black. Hopefully the devs look into this, as this was the first and only app that I've ever seen to offer such a feature.
2024-11-21 | It has a whole bunch of features, but I'll go over one that I love and one that isn't amazing. The curves tool is absolutely incredible and allows for some truly magical edits, as well as just being super fun to play with. The not so great bit is the text tool. It's finicky and not very customizable beyond a very limited scope. However, there are plenty of other apps that can do that, and it's not a big downside all things considered. |
