2025-01-15 | Almost a great game. The production values are quite good, with real life actors, etc. There is some interaction and decision making, but whether it actually influences the course of the game isn't clear, because it seems to come to the conclusion regardless of the decision the player makes. And I wish there was a way to tap to fill and advance the text, rather than waiting for it to gradually fill and proceed. The stories were pretty good. If there is a sequel, more control plz
2024-12-15 | This game is worth playing. I typically get bored with games quickly, but not with this one. So far, I've not had any issues at all & I haven't run into any paywalls or ads. Also, I love the fact that there are so many different options to solving the crime. This game has a chat option (which you chat with several people within the PD & you have different options, on what to say), you get the victims phone, you get to interrogate witnesses & suspects, etc.. My point is, this game is so much fun!
2024-12-14 | I was genuinely surprised at how much I loved this game. Both stories had me HOOKED! I could barely put my phone down the last two days. The production value was better than I expected, especially with "unmasked" imo. I wish there were more! I know scriptic has a few other variations that aren't on Netflix but none of them are this investigation style nor as long. I hope Netflix will work with them to get some more, they deserve it!
2024-11-23 | Pretty good game overall. Interesting stories and characters. I just wish they had more mysteries, more stories. Just the two they started with isn't enough. Plus they said there would be more over the summer but nothing. Kinda disappointing 😕 Edit: 1 year later... still no additional games. Even more disappointing 😞
2024-11-23 | completely emersive! I completely recommend to any true crime buff!! Edit; still love it but my ending for episode five just won't work. I've opened and closed the app many times and it says i can continue but loads to a black screen that never loads into anything else. I had to watch someone else's ending online. Hoping the alternate ending works.
2024-08-24 | Episode 3 of redman is stuck and no way to progress forward. Nothing to say in any of the chats, no new apps on the phone, no one to interrogate. I'm waiting for intelligence to give me a new address for a guy but the last thing she said is that she's working on it. No status bar, nothing. It was fun until it stopped working. Uninstalled.
2024-07-25 | i LOVED this game. the redman case was very interesting and intriguing, i loved the plot twist and red herrings. being involved in the interrogations, having intelligence and forensic teams and the press/outside sources interfere with the case really made it feel real. i tried the real game and it's not the same though, you have to wait like 2 hours to play the next episode, so if anyone has any other game recommendations like this pleaseeee let me know!!
2024-05-18 | Played the Redman one. Do not expect to actually solve a crime; in the end, this is a visual novel, and the plot is mostly red herrings and deus ex machinas. Your choices barely matter. Writing is mixed, as if written by several writers of varying quality. Some parts are near brilliant. Other parts are cliche and annoyingly preachy. The plot starts out quite compelling but goes downhill in the second act. To my surprise, it recovers and finishes pretty strong. Despite its flaws, it's worth a go!
2024-03-15 | Was hooked. I didn't have any issues with black screens or gameplay technical errors. Both stories are very intriguing, I liked the first one the most. You feel very involved and I enjoy that the game gives realistic time frames for getting things done. This helps people understand how long it can truly take for police work. If you like crime and investigation, I definitely suggest giving this a go
2024-01-15 | I was instantly hooked playing this game. It's impressively realistic. My current problem is I keep getting a black screen and getting kicked off the game when I try to view the CC TV footage from Intelligence in chapter 2. Guess I have to try skipping this and go straight my chat options to Intelligence. Hopefully that will let me move forward. |
