2023-11-10	Danielle Scafidi	App has completely stopped working in any of my local stores. Have refreshed/restarted WiFi, uninstalled/reinstalled app, restarted phone, etc and I still get an error every time I try to use. CS in two stores have confirmed it should be available, but it is not.
2023-07-17	Coreena Boyer	I will continue to use this app but it is a bumblebutt of bugs. It is convenient as I don't have to talk to anyone, I get to pay on the app, use reusable bags, and walk out with the express lane. BUT it takes a lot of time to make sure things are scanning right. The camera freezes in the middle of a scan and will put multiple of the same item in your cart. Sometimes it's just one or two exta, sometimes it's 48! You have to delete them one at a time. Always check your cart! I hope for an update.
2023-03-05	Jon Boscia	I love this app. It makes me shop at Giant above any other store. It's quick, efficient and easy to use. I can walk around the store, scan my groceries and bag them as I go so checkout is a breeze. I have no complaints about this app. Occasionally I get audited and an employee has to scan my stuff, but this is fine.
2022-10-20	Justin Fuhrman	I have been using the Giant Scan It app for months now and I love it. It allows me to scan my items as I go. I can also bag my groceries as I go allowing me to have things where I want them. Check out is easy and makes my shopping trips a lot faster. I totally recommend!
2022-10-16	Ken Cathers	DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME DOWNLOADING THIS APP. This app is totally useless. I installed and setup this app at our local Giant and then tried using it and I got an error saying that either the app wasn't working or the system was down. The CS rep says "The system has been down for a couple weeks. Every time I try using it I get the same error." So then I setup Giant Wallet thinking that might get it to work. Stopped at another Giant, and got the same error. Next step - uninstall.
2021-05-21	Dave Crossett	While I like the application, their process is terrible. The system will look at your transactions, and may require an audit. Once your account is flagged for an audit you have to complete the audit. The issue is they don't train the employees to handle the audit. I was flagged for an audit (no problem with that). The issue is I have tried to used the app 6 times at 3 different stores. No one knew what the problem was or was willing figure out the problem
2021-01-23	Isabel Araujo	Not sure why this app doesn't want to work for me. I've loaded and unloaded it. It keeps telling me it can't reach the server in the store. It would have made my life so much easier. The Wegman's scan it app works fine and I love it.
2020-12-14	Bill McLachlan	With my Pixel 3, SCANiT was working at the local Giant (Kennett Square PA). I upgraded to the Pixel 5, in late November, and since then have not been able to get SCANiT to work. The error msg is the same as in the other reviews - connection error, check with customer service. I was connected to Giant WiFi (as is required by SCANiT). The helpful manager at customer service checked with her iPhone and was able to connect to SCANiT. The Google Pixel 5 uses Android version 11. So, for the last 3 weeks, no SCANiT! Is there a SCANiT customer support line?
2020-12-06	Kristin B. Sullivan	I've only been able to use this app once in my local Giant. Every time I try to use it, I get a server connection error. When I ask the store staff for help, they say "it doesn't really work in our store & they aren't doing anything to fix it". They keep advertising an app that doesn't work, they know it & are doing nothing to fix it. Go to Wegmans. Their prices are a little higher but their app works and their customer service actual helps with problems.
