2025-01-25 | This was my favorite music app. Suddenly it no longer works as it previously did. The app stops after 2 minutes of playing a song. Then I must remove the phone from my pocket or the car cubby and restart the app. It's no longer usable and I paid for the unlocked version. Have to go back to Amazon music or Pandora.
2025-01-20 | The only android player that can provide all the features I want from a local music player app, the only bug I am experiencing is that sometimes album/artist covers get frozen and i haven't yet found a way to change such cover to anything else. One time this happened after I chose a cover for an artist manually, but I believe automatically downloaded ones can get stuck too
2024-12-29 | Great on Android tablets and phones. My reason for a lower rating was it is available on Chromebook but it absolutely is terrible on it. Visual glitches of the text, screen glitches when adding sources. This is a 5 star app on other devices but just not usable on my Chromebook. This sucks as there are really no decent apps like even close to PowerAmp, any update for more compatibility on Chromebook (lack of any good program is the reason I rarely use mine...the local music players are poor
2024-12-26 | This is a great music player but it shock me the developer has not made a user friendly manual for it's setting and using of it to help people that is not real technically as this app is. I am okay to figure out how to get it setup to use as I need but to get all it has to offer it's not user friendly. I've searched the internet to see if someone else has made3 a manual available and I've not found one and seen many others are looking also. The developer needs to release full manual.
2024-11-10 | Hey I'll pay for the feature package if you fix a few things in the app. 1. take out the annoying pop-up that tells me which "listening profile is picked". Like the name of the device the music is playing through. Also make it easier to switch those profiles. 2. Take away any Internet required moments in the app. IDC if it's just the first 24 hours. I MEAN NONE. I've had to restart a phone journey b4 and I DL this app first but sometimes I didn't have access to the Internet. So it sucked.
2024-10-12 | I prefer to have my personal music on my phone. I don't use streaming services or anything like that. Poweramp, by a long shot, is the best music player on mobile. Endless customizations. Awesome visuals while listening to music. I love that it actually finds cool album art that can also be changed if necessary. There are numerous skins you can download and then modify those to your liking. I really wish they would make a version for windows. It would smash any competition for sure
2024-10-12 | Wow. For $8 bucks, this is maybe the best app purchase I've ever made - well designed UI, cool visualizations along with sound so good that it's astonishing when compared to the free ad-based player I had been using. Strongly recommend for anyone looking for an ad-free music player.
2024-10-03 | Best. Freaking. Offline music player. well worth the amount I paid. I can see myself using this app MOSTLY over others. For someone who cares about their music quality, it's game changing to say the least. Endless customization features, One promised price, one of IF NOT the best you can get your hands on for Android as of now. Compared to the other 'free' or paid music players stuffed with endless ads? This is quite phenomenal. (I recommend using seal to download songs from YouTube.)
2024-09-27 | Good music player, but could be better if they would allow you to keep the track skip buttons and disable the annoying category skip buttons. Your running along, listening to your workout playlist, and try to skip to the next song, but your bouncing finger accidentally hits the category skip button and suddenly your listening to your sleepytime playlist.
2024-09-18 | Wish there was customization built into the app, but my biggest complaint is that I listen to music from the 50s all the way to today's music and sadly when you go to the year option it only displays 2024 through 1963. Any year after 1963 doesn't show up on the year tab. I'd appreciate if you could fix this 🙏 I'll give you 5 stars if you fix this for me |
