Sometimes, I am shocked by the songs that are available in the forums, but way more often, I am disheartened by the absence of VERY popular songs. It doesn't help that the self-appointed moderators of the forums are constantly policing people for adding more songs. Maybe if they weren't so critical, I wouldn't have to make so many charts all the time.

GREAT to have access to such a huge library of user-created arrangements! Searching for songs can be hit-or-miss, and I find it too complex to input my own songs, but I don't read music and don't know how to chart, so maybe that's normal. One-time price reasonable. There's no way to input melody, but that's due to copyright infringement laws. WONDERFUL for new musicians learning uke, guitar or piano because you can view chord diagrams and see where your fingers go!

The app is a lot of fun...so may tunes. When I first got it I had a question about where the repeat sign was. Sent in a question, answered less than a day! Had another question recently.. I had built up my library of tunes and got a tablet yesterday and wondered if I could get that library to the new device. Sent in a question...again answered in less than a day. It was in the faq but I had missed it. Slick handy little program... absolutely worth the money!

Great if you just want a quick jam for any reason. It's also super nice for composition -- you put in the chords and you automatically get a full band playing your progression. It takes a little bit of time to fully understand the way to write your own pieces, but it's worth it. There's nothing else like this app out there, and it's worth every penny.

It works fine for just seeing chords, but compared to the apple version of the app, it just looks weird and doesn't have all the features and not that organized, even just looking at the chord changes, the whole thing looks stretched out vertically when the phone is in portrait mode

Bought this app 10 years ago and never looked back. Coming from a cheapskate who avoids paid apps like the plague, this is the best ~$10 I ever spent. I even bought it again when I switched to Android. Between the chord charts and the built-in backing track player (~1300 standards, plus a vast library of rock/pop songs.. you can also write your own), whether you're studying jazz at a conservatory, or writing pop charts for your weekend cover band.. this app is for you. can't recommend it enough

This is app really helps in reducing the amount of paper music I need to take on a gig sometimes. BUT, take the time to plan a set and make sure the changes to the tunes are correct. lt has its limitations of course, not being able to mark rhythmic accents being one of them. But I find it extremely useful in displaying charts on my 12" tablet when the bass player and I have to read the same chords in an unfamiliar key for a singer. Manage expectations, learn the tool, and it will be v helpful.

This app is an indispensable part of every practice session. The portable, easy access to 1000+ jazz standards alone is worth the price. But these guys also included a little fake band to back you while you practice the songs. 🤘 You can edit the band by choosing instruments, turning them off and on, and mixing their volumes. You clean easily change the tempo of each song, the key of each song, and the basic groove of each song. Night mode is perfect. Highly recommended.

Took a while for me to fully appreciate this app, but this a great tool for a student of jazz. You can get an accurate chart of any jazz standard, transpose to any key, export a pdf of your chart--you get a back track, change the tempo. I think I have access to 1200 songs. Try that with a fake book! And good customer service as well. Must have for any jazz student.

Great features for learning chords/chord progressions on guitar and keys. Very intuitive. I did not need to read the instructions to figure out how to loop sections, change speed, or display piano vs. guitar. The forums have a lot of additional content and it is very easy to import things into the app from the forum link within the app. This is perfect for learning music theory in quick bursts. You don't need to be able to read sheet music; this app displays in tabs and visually on piano.
