The add-ons are not worth the cost. I wish the folks that made the first one also made the second. UPDATE: Seriously, why do I keep losing points even though I win??? Get it together, people. |

Having issues loading anything (black boxes everywhere). AI players who never freaking go. Nickel and diming with all the micro-transactions. Just absolute garbage compared to the first one. Spend less time on stupid drawn out animations and more time squashing bugs. |

I play the first one a lot and it's great for a quick game when killing time but the new one, while pretty, is too slow with the animations and the cards are harder to see. No refund after having it for an hour so I'll check back in after a few updates and possibly more options to speed up the game. |

Customization is minimal and I want to see more of that. The game can go on literally FOREVER if someone chooses to not play, therefore, you guys NEED TO ADD A TIMER because I'm over it, implement the goddamn timer already. Otherwise, this game is absolutely awesome, you guys did perfect creating this game and I'm well impressed with the game. |

The in app purchases are kinda a rip off since no one else can see a lot of the things you can buy and apply. You have to use a second party app to play online with other people. When you pick a avatar it resets at the beginning of each game and you have to customize it again each time. It just seems like it was really rushed. The fist app just runs so much smoother and is paced well. |

Edit down to 2star because there are many instances where the game feels impossible to proceed. For example, if someone steal a card, I'm not able to give up any of my cards no matter how I try . One of the worst game purchases, complete waste of money. So disappointing the game crashes a lot, freezes and kicks you out often which affects your ranking. 😡😓😡😓 Definitely agree with the reviews about getting kicked and turns taking a long time, that's usually when I get kicked or the game freezes. So bummed and disappointed. |

Instead we get expensive purchasable emojis and costumes, along with a slew of other pricey micro-transactions. I love the art style, but would like to see better death animations. You'll also have to forfeit your data and create a "bubble" account in order to play online. Exploding Kittens 2 feels like an inferior cash-grab version of a tried and true gem. Stick to the OG. |
| 2024-09-13 |  | | So far I've been really enjoying this game. I must agree that it is quite slow but the animations do make up for it. The animations are pretty cool and unique. There are some old things I enjoy more of the first game though and I hope they add later on in the game. For example I miss the voice lines back and forth with other players the emojis are nothing special I really preferred the voice lines. I've noticed your outfit never saves either I usually have to change like the skin color back. |
| 2024-09-12 |  | | This app is nowhere near as good as the 1st one. The response time is very minimal. It is nearly impossible to nope a steal because of the wonky controls and mechanics. You have to slide the card to the actual discard pile and when the option to steal is presented, you cannot immediately nope. You have to wait until the opponents hand pops us and then the game barely lets you swipe your own cards up. It has better graphics than the original, but that's it really. Do NOT waste your money on this |
