Ui/ux is great!

Excellent. This is basically the updated 2016 version of Chinese Assimil that was previously only available in French as, "Assimil Le Chinois". It's not a book version but the app will do since in many ways it is better than having an actual book such as the ability to remove the pinyin when reading characters.
