Yes in your Android manifest you have the permissions used in applications to ensure the app stays awake or operational without being put to sleep by the system. like "android.permission.WAKE_LOCK" Etc etc etc. But none of these permissions matter, if you don't have an "app ICON" in the Status Bar to keep the app ALIVE!. |

Walking around my room in circles to trigger things on and nothing. Leave a room for hours and detects ghost people. When it works it's really cool.. When it doesn't, it's always the worst possible times. Being stranded in the dark because a simple trigger can't turn a light on, makes me actually want to go back to hue motion sensors. |

In this context, I stumbled upon the aqara m3, which was easy to set up in the aqara app, hence the three stars. But impossible to incorporate into the smartlife ecosystem. So it goes back... |
