2025-01-23 | 최고! I absolutely adore this app, it is an amazing value for the lifetime price in my opinion, as it has content to bring you to INTERMEDIATE levels. That's literally like two Korean textbooks. The lessons are well made, the pronunciations are all genuine humans, and I love the learning tips and the reading and speaking practices at the end of every lesson.
2025-01-19 | Well, this is disappointing. The app used to be free with extra features you could purchase with a pro membership, but now everything is behind a pay wall - $15/month, $85/semi-annually, $160/yr, or $480/lifetime. The app itself was structured well and the lessons were helpful with useful grammar insights, but I'm not interested in subscription anything anymore.
2025-01-16 | I absolutely love using the app. It uses multiple forms of learning, provides options to make your learning smoother, and uses practical sentences immediately. I get to hear, speak, and type in one lesson; and it shows you WHY you are saying what you say. I highly recommend using this and other LingoDeer apps!
2025-01-15 | pretty good actually. better than doulingo and you don't have to feel the pressure to get them all right. there is end of section tests that you have to get a certain number right to pass on ti the next section. They have customizable reviews for vocabulary and grammar. 5 minute quizes and quick tests that you can do anytime to review what you've learned. It's also easier to hear what they are saying other than doulingo. I recommend. I bought the life long subscription, it was a one time payment
2025-01-04 | Was good until it was locked away. I used this app to begin learning Japanese in 2022. At that time, it was free. I went through a lot of lessons, and then I dropped being consistent. I came in 2025, and I am locked out of content I've already done. I can actually see my old progress, but it's all locked until I pay a premium to use the app. I'm disappointed and will look elsewhere.
2024-12-19 | Too often I do a lesson and don't get any points towards keeping my streak alive. Lowering my rating after that happened twice in a row after long lessons and my normal "completely kill and restart" didn't stop it from happening. They also need to work on their dark theme. Too much is unreadable and black on black images. Their number translation is also lacking. Translate "2000", and the answers are just pictures of the numbers
2024-12-12 | I remember a long time ago this app featured a lot of option for free learners. It was amazing, like a better duolingo. Now you get one free lesson and it's barely anything. I understand an app like this needs to make money somehow but there would be better ways to entice me to pay a subscription than barely giving me anything for what i can do for free.
2024-11-29 | Definitely one of the best Korean learning apps I've used! I think it'd be a good idea to have lingodeer mark things I haven't studied in a while as weak again so that it reminds me to go over it again in case i forgot. Also when reviewing, pls give us option to disable audio auto play. This works for when you're learning, but not in the reviewing tab! Thank u guys :)
2024-11-19 | This is the best app I've used for learning Korean. I've used every app I could find (more than 10!) and I am learning more from Lingodeer than any other one. It covers vocabulary, grammar, speaking, and writing. For some of the writing exercises you have the option of either clicking on parts of words to make a sentence or typing the sentence in full. It was super easy to install a Korean language keyboard and I learn so much more by typing (and getting it wrong!). I love it!
2024-11-05 | An app that only lets you complete one lesson is a free trial not a free language learning app. Disappointing since I did like the app. I'd be happy to watch ads but I'm not paying hundreds of dollars for a phone app and I'm not signing up for yet another subscription to slowly drain my savings. I understand they have to make money but don't waste my time calling it free if it isn't actually free. |
