What?? The idea of coding blocks is great, but how are we supposed to figure out what each code block does? The icons on the blocks are completely unintuitive. Which one just makes the motor turn? Would it be so hard to have a little built-in help button so that if you want to know how to use the currently selected block, you can access a description? Documentation, people!

The app only half works. The standard controls are fine as far as I can tell. However, when I go to create there seems to be a ~20% chance that projects will delete themselves (this includes while they're open) breaking the app's functionality. When I go to create now there's a high chance that the controls lock and I have to completely restart the app. I want to like this app but I can't if my custom commands (the reason I got the app) are just going to delete themselves.

Devs responded to this, which I appreciate, but what I'd appreciate more (as would new programmers) is some DOCUMENTATION. (Original ->) The update to 4.x apparently required them to introduce a new look & feel which is terribly confusing having come from a prior version. Have to look at old programs to figure out what I'm looking for in the new interface. I don't use this app for premade sets, just creations, and it's close-to-unuseable in it's current state.

Great app. Works well and without flaws. I think the following features that don't exist could make this better: 1. Would like Xbox/Bluetooth controller mapping to widget support. 2. Would like built in help for each piece similar to Lego boost app (long hold on piece would bring up a hint about what a particular code block piece does). 3. Ability to save or export code to the cloud.

This is app is totally abusive in the privacy department. I downloaded the app to my samsung note 8 and it did not work. I wondered why. After a lot of back and forth I finally realized the app wanted access to all the permissions on my phone. It wanted me turn on my wifi in order to use the app when the app only needs bluetooth to use it. It wanted access to everything. Once i turned on all the permissons then it worked. They want to know everything about us. To much intrusion. Bad lego product

All I wanted was for my train to go forwards and backwards. I would even settle for just 1 direction only. Why can't I just have a controller with knob to spin, or pre-loaded, default, generic, simple to find and operate, controller. Really just need a little slider or turn dial, didn't want to have to build and code a controlller.

Works fine for the standard Lego sets. But impossible to use for MOCs. There is no return to center slider. No invert code block to reverse an input from a slider. In addition I accidentally placed a control on the build I was doing and after deleting it it still shows back up after exiting and entering the control placement screen. Overall I'm very disappointed with Legos app here.

I like that you can make your own controllers, but I feel like there should be an easier way to do it instead of having to code it all. The coding is hard to understand and easy controllers would streamline my customization emensely. Example: making it so that you can go into the widget settings and change things like A or B output, and which other widget it connects to (for the speedometer).

I got this for the haunted mansion set. The power function was on backorder for months. The set works fine manually but with the app (after trouble shooting/watching YouTube videos) it only sometimes works, is very noisy, doesn't catch the chain well, and it doesn't bring the car up all the way to the top most of the time. It's not intuitive at all to use and is not helped by the fact that pushing the buttons only sometimes does anything, and sometimes does nothing. Not ready for prime time.

Not ideal for lego trains. The app by design will stop the train when you leave it, open another app or your phone goes into sleep/standby. I want to leave the train running, it is not practical to leave my phone on. The older IR remotes are superior in this regard, shame they are being phased out for a system with less features.
