2023-05-28 | This app is great, but for Korean, specifically, the sounds of the hangul letters are not all that accurate and sound very similar when not all are. Also, the writing aspect of the characters is irritating. You can't be too long or short, and you have to be really straight or it will say it's wrong, which is annoying. Also, when actually writing in hangul, not all the strokes are separate... some are because they start somewhere else but... the app separates each stroke, which is annoying.
2023-04-29 | I was going to pay for the monthly Premium experience but all of a sudden it is no longer available. Just lifetime and yearly. Thts sad so 1 star for tht. But giving it 2 more stars for the initial experience (w/o paying anything). For those who can afford the yearly or lifetime plan go for it. The set up is nice. I was learning very well.
2023-01-19 | I love love LOVE this language learning app! It's so cute and inviting. The free version was just fine to use but I eventually wanted to work for longer sessions so I leveled up.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There are a few features I hope they add some day, like personalizing the menu so you can have a row of the topics you want to work on right on the main page.❌ Altering the color theme for when you tire of purple (yes, I'm very tired of it).❌ Oh, and deleting topics from the main page you aren't interested in.❌
2022-07-14 | The app has a free 5 mintute learning session, which is great. However, I kept trying to do a monthly premium subscription and it was having issues processing in the app. But it would show up in my active prescriptions in the store. . I tried restarting my phone, force stop on the app, canceling and redoing the subscription, un- and re-installed, and nothing fixed it. Now I'll probably be charged twice next month :(. It's a good app but this glitch is very bothersome.
2022-02-05 | It's a great way to learn korean vocabulary although I wouldn't use it as your main learning source because it's very limited. (It only allows you to learn for 5 minutes a day.) And most sections are locked, but there are a pretty good sections of unlocked vocabulary that are very useful and fun to learn. In my opinion it's very overpriced and expensive to unlocked the premium features. Which for what I know only include longer learning time, no adds and more vocabulary lists for 69.99???
2021-10-24 | Pretty fun for a learning app. If you don't pay for premium you only get two 5-minute study sessions a day, but I actually prefer this to unlimited time. It's a much easier time commitment. You can study while you're taking your morning 💩 and still make some daily progress in vocabulary, lol. Some of the pictures aren't very intuitive, but it seems like a lot of them are getting replaced with better ones lately.
2021-08-14 | This is a great app for learning vocabulary. It's much better than flashcards. In fact, I'm taking a class that uses Quizlet but I'm having a hard time. So, I'm looking for the vocab on Drops so I can learn it. You'll want to use other resources for grammar, culture, honorifics, etc. But drops does a fantastic job of getting you started and continuing to grow your vocab.
2021-02-09 | This app is really helpful! Just wish the UI could be improved a bit because it lags behind a little, like when I'm on the collections page and I scroll down quickly, the words are not seen and it takes a few seconds to show up. Or sometimes the app just gets stuck. I love that it gives 5 mins study. It has great collection of words and with visuals to aid the learning better, and also an easy to understand voice!
2021-01-04 | I really enjoy this app, its easy to use and I feel like I learn very quickly. I just got the annual sub for the new year, lets see if I can keep up my streak. I would love to see more country name units, the current countries units are very light on central/south american countries, and feature no african countries at all, or india. (and it doesnt include north korea, even in the korean language module.)
2020-11-16 | I've tried several language learning apps but this is by far the easiest to use. Unpaid, you have small 5 minute lessons that make learning easy, quick and fun, and you can always go back to review what you've learned so far. Paid, you can take longer lessons, which is great if you're on a roll and picking it up easily. You can also access a 'dojo' to practice what you've already learned as a touch up. Please give it a try! |
