| 2025-02-04 |  | | This app is great! I used to learn on Duolingo, but I eventually deleted it. I don't think I'll delete this app anytime soon. However, one of the writing exercises (dragging and arranging circles in a row) keeps lagging and it takes me at least a few seconds to complete the exercise (the primary reason why I keep losing multiplayer challenges). |

It's becoming quite buggy, constantly freezing up or giving me a login error (and logging back in is also quite irksome). I don't find the checkpoint system useful ; I'd like to just pick topics and learn the vocab! More fun topics, please? Having mostly focused on Korean, I'd LOVE more language and culture specific vocab sections added. Fewer long sentences as well, too hard to grasp in a short time. |

I have checked my settings so many times and still haven't figured out the issue. They're just gone. This newest update makes the app almost unusable. It keeps pressuring me to do multi-player competitions that I have zero interest in and can't seem to opt out of. Now, I can't even choose what I want to learn without it forcing unbeatable tests. All the features I use are gone. |

It's very very basic and doesn't really teach sentences or words that are even helpful in everyday speaking scenarios. For example how often everyday will I need to use the word Shark or Pufferfish? I would also like to say the speed of the speaker is way too fast and it doesn't give you the option to slow it down. |

Sometimes if I'm lucky, it can load a lesson, but it usually blames the connection (which is fine). The app is bad about skipping lessons completely if you know some of the language already. Also, for learning Hangeul (which I wanted to skip), it felt like nobody really thought about how to implement that in a manner that should be taken seriously. If improvements are made, my rating will improve. |
| 2025-01-22 |  | | I'm 2239 consecutive days into learning Japanese. Suddenly I have been presented with at least 5 "checkpoints" which have to be successfully passed in order to continue. Trying to pass these checkpoints does not count towards your sucessive days... As these checkpoints cover over 4000 words and phrases, it is all but impossible to complete these. That's it, my streak will be gone and I'm so demotivated. I can't see the point in carrying on. |

On the home page It has Get started with drops: starter pack, check point 1 Learn Hangul: Korean consonant and vowels Day&month, etc. I've done and master them but can't find the lesson cash register unless I search the keyword from it to. |
| 2025-01-20 |  | | The app is unusable after latest update. :-( 1) When I open the app, it says I have a 23 day streak even though I'm on day 777. 2) After a couple of seconds it shows my actual 777 day streak and immediately freezes. I can swipe up/down/left/right but none of the buttons work. I restarted my phone, but that didn't do anything. Edit: The app finally worked. I've been trying it off and on all day. I'm unsure why it finally worked or if the problem is fully resolved. Thank you. |
| 2025-01-18 |  | | Drops is a great language learning app for several reasons, for one it is very informative and has lots of content, another is that unlike many other language apps drops offers a lifetime subscription to their service, majority of other apps only offer up to annual subscriptions. Also I recently was having a problem with the app and reached out to customer support, they responded quickly and fixed the issue. Overall amazing app. |
