It does work, mostly, but it's obnoxious that so much core functionality is paywalled. You can't even play the files in a folder without paying. And worse your only option to pay is a subscription. For a media player? Ridiculous. If it was possible to just buy it for $5 then fine, but I am not subscribing to a media player.

The idea is good, but the player just doesn't work. Fails shortly after start and doesn't run again.
