2025-01-16 | Nice game, lots of tutorial, and new player benefits until you reach level 20 from my knowledge. After that it's just saving your gems and gold for upgrading character and cards. It's a nice game if you're playing casually, but I wish there were more opportunities to earn more currency or at least make it so that players can get special cards and items as well. A majority of specialty cards are locked behind a pay wall, so you have to save a lot. Otherwise, it's nice. PLEASE CHANGE APP ICON!!!
2025-01-04 | A great gameplay experience buried underneath a garbage user experience. This game was barely alive, years ago, and saying that it's still living would be very generous. I would really love to see them make a sequel where they improve on the actually good game and reset the pile of garbage (year's worth of temporary events that each added more and more to the pile) back to how it was 7 years ago, and, y'know, not make the same mistakes next time. The garbage wasn't originally garbage, y'know.
2024-10-12 | Frustrating. Very little tutorial for the amount of things happening. All luck based so you can go from absolutely dominating to losing in a single turn. Ad heavy. Everything has an ad to get more rewards and it's too much. It's a big waste of time. Art is amazing and characters are fun so that gives it an extra star.
2024-08-01 | I am changing my review from 5 stars to 1 star. I loved this game when it came out. It was fair, and every player had a fair shot of winning. Now, it is literally paid to win weather. Is it skill cards that just literally win the game for the person who played it (skydive, I am looking at you). Goods that just make it impossible to play cards, items, collect tolls, etc. This game WAS great now it is just pay to win garbage.
2024-06-13 | Well, actually it's a pretty good game for beginners and more since it gives beginners an advantage against higher players. Since after all it would be unfair if a high rank won all the time. also it's a pretty fun game with choosing your own characters, and etc like card type and the feature I like about us that it'll tell you if it's worth equipping or not like some of my six star cards showed me defense and for other strategies.👍
2024-05-09 | As soon as it installed I tried to run it. The cacophony of noise that assaulted my ears made me instantly uninstall it. I don't know what the system requirements on this game are, but apparently they are quite beefy. Don't try to run this on an older phone. I would love to leave a more informed review, but my screen started glitching out when I tried to run this without audio. I suspect this game runs fine on most main line phones. If you have even a higher tier goverment phone, just forget it.
2024-03-23 | Update: there is not a problem with the WiFi as the dev suggests. It simply does not run in the background which means if your screen goes off for any reason then you get to start over. I was enjoying the premise but had to put my phone in my pocket to do something and when the screen went out it disconnected which made me start over completely and that was just the tutorial.
2022-12-23 | Overall, this is a neat game. My only critique from a UX designer perspective is that the forced tutorial does tend to drag for a bit. Forcing players to learn mechanics can cause some to leave out of either annoyance or being overwhelmed. I'd recommend giving the option of skipping some tutorials and give an extra reward for completing the tutorials.
2022-06-13 | Played it a long time ago in I think season 1 or 2... and the game was fun and enjoyable. I played 2 games of it now and when I say I didn't know what was going on 70% of the time... items being used, cards doing random stuff, whatever the character in the middle is giving random debuffs randomly... and I couldn't play as the character I had... Don't fix it if it ain't broken... it was fine before and it's not even enjoyable anymore. Don't know what's what and where.
2022-05-04 | I used to play this game all the way back in 2018, I must say that when I first started it was a pretty fun game. There were WAY more players than now and there were hardly any match ups against bots and overly higher ranked players than me. Picking up characters and saving up was possible within satisfactory parameters of playtime. However, when I picked up the game again this year it became a whole different thing... Too P2W for it's own good, don't pick it up unless you like impossible odds.. |
