2024-10-09	sek three	this app is FANTASTIC! at first I was confused how it all worked but after messing around a bit found it to be powerful to get down some ideas. I'll record verses on multiple tracks.. then bounce them all to a single track freeing up 3 tracks. then do the same with chorus tracks. doing so allows me to conceptualize how a song would sound in its entirety. I still don't understand how the effects work but they do work, and that's good for me.
2024-09-22	Daniel Beahm	Nice, simple app to jot down song ideas with additional voicing and instrumentation. Huge kudos for minimal ad bloat. Took me a while to figure out how to split and move sections on each track (click track button then "edit" button). Would be great if trax showed used areas, not just a line to wherever track recording ends.
2024-01-09	Ron Guensche	Great, simple four-track recorder with no social media component! I wanted a simple sketch pad for song ideas that behaved closely to an old cassette four-track recorder, and this does a great job of that. Things to know- tracks can be either mono or stereo, and track bouncing can be done, like on a cassette. Developer is incredibly responsive to questions and feedback, thanks! Works on my Samsung S10 with a Presonus audiobox 96. Individual tracks export fine to pro tools.

No annoying ads, no forced social bs, just you and 4 tracks to lay down rhythm, lead, vocals, and more. It's a singer's dream. Easy to drop 4 harmony tracks with any melody that pops in your head at any time. Love the autosave feature and worry free transitions between this app and others. Well done! 👍
2023-10-23	Ryan Klauk	This app has been one of the most important things in my life for going on 6 years. Using the J4t I have recorded hundreds of songs and about a dozen albums. The in board effects are incredible and making mid fi recordings with great atmosphere is totally possible. I just love this thing. Recently, my phone got stolen and when I got my new one I found a model I liked and signed a contract for it...then when I got home I realized...no headphone jack. Please.. Blue Tooth accessible upgrade soon?xo
2023-10-21	Peter J Batza	Absolutely perfect!! As a singer-songwriter you couldn't ask for more. It operates flawlessly on my phone and my Chromebook. No, I wouldn't use it to record a professional band, etc ... But for my purposes, it is absolutely everything I need and nothing I don't. Have not had any glitches or latency issues. It has a built-in latency test tool even. I do have a high-end phone and perhaps that may be the problem with people's complaints. How can you beat this app? I love it.
2023-09-26	Alex	I'm confused to see so many positive reviews. There's about a half a second delay in the playback of other tracks when recording a track. The only way to line up the timing is to turn on the metronome and turn down the volume on all the other tracks. This is a weird and fundamental design flaw that makes the app close to unusable.
2023-02-03	Brian Storm	Used for years and years. Most of the low scores here are user error. People get frustrated learning a new app's functionality, and rather than use a process of elimination and testing effects, they immediately get mad at the dev and lower the score. This app is one that I put on every new device. It's always been the same (or better) with no ads or cost to the user. This kind of APK gold doesn't come along every day. With zero musical talent, I have created a track that got local radio play.
2022-08-19	Gen 19 Music Channel	Just what I was looking for! I always have song ideas while driving. I hear whole ideas with all instruments so just using voice recorder doesn't allow me to get the harmonies of all instruments. With this, I can hum in the different parts and even "human beat box" the drum track! Perfect! I can retain those great ideas and record them for real later! Would absolutely recommend and already have!
2021-12-17	Austin Huskey	Great app but it has it's issues. I'll spend a good amount of time recording on several tracks, get the levels where I want them so that everything is sounding balanced, but then as soon as I mix them, some of the tracks I can barely hear and others are way too loud. Even though moments before it was perfect. Sometimes mixing works fine though. Very weird. Other than that it's a great app, just remember to save individual tracks before mixing if you don't want to have to redo them.
