| 2025-01-22 |  | | Settings don't save. I have to change settings every single time I print something. I'm not even sure if they do anything because I cannot print a single page without the image leaving the borders. There's no ability to edit any kind of aspect ratio, no zoom, nothing. Fit page also does nothing. No change in preview. I'm about to throw this thing away. My HP printer is easily the worst piece of electronic junk I've ever used. |

The only trouble I've had in past was when it disconnected It took me forever to get it reconnected again because you have to connect your printer to another device that has never connected to your printer in order for you to get reconnect it again but then once you reconnect you can get your original device to connect but it could have been something I missed that causedthis |
| 2025-01-18 |  | | My Android 11 (now v14) Motorola phone works okay on our Inkjet, however since I have the LaserJet on a different subnet it's not found. I did two different prints to our inkjet and the last page didn't print on either printout. Also looked like it wanted to print on legal paper so part was cut off. It's easy to use if the app has print on it's menu. Some apps don't support this yet - at least that's my assumption since it's not there on some of them. |

Using tray 1 meant I had to stand in front of the printer to manually add paper. Not productive!! Update 2025: much better now with easy to use drop-down for printer options. Works from phone, Kindle, and laptop. |
| 2025-01-14 |  | | I have to scan using the app from my printer to my laptop because, after resetting my laptop, scanning from my printer to my laptop only creates jpeg files and will not "download" a PDF anymore. I cannot find anything in the app to put it back the way it was. Not HP's fault that my laptop was hacked, but wish it were easier to put things back the way they were. Otherwise, I enjoy printing from my laptop or phone at the touch of a button. |

UPDATE; One year later, there are still issues with it finding the printer. HP Smart is not very smart. Has issues on my phone app as well as the laptop. One time, it will print, the next, it says printer unavailable. |

Yet i still went forward. I was then told my phone wasn't compatible with this app. Complete waste of time. Will be deleting. |
| 2024-12-29 |  | | App allows me to print from my phone in the office. It's handy for all kinds of communication I need to print, including photos. Very helpful. It is slow, needs time to connect, while other times connects automatically which makes my phone disconnect from wifi, however, the good outweighs the bad 100%. It hasn't caused anything bad to happen to phone, network, or printer. I do recommend it. |
| 2024-12-19 |  | | Years ago, my InkJet 6830 printer stopped working. Turns out, wireless connection failed. Then, an Ethernet cord fixed printing from my Windows 10 desktop PC. Dec. '24 update: Troubles with the ink colors drying out from minimal use had me switch to HP LaserJet MFP M234sdw printer, which uses black toner. I opted to use it wired in. HP Support helped me finish setting up. Also, their HP Print Plugin Service app enables me to easily print (on one side) from every device that has it installed. |
| 2024-12-18 |  | | Doesn't work right, but I fixed it! I now go to library when I must print something. Don't need an app and I get all my printing done right first time! Lol Yes it costs me, but I don't have to buy a whole ream of paper. Figure I'm coming out ahead! When it is working correctly let me know, for now, it's hit and miss. Glad I have library card!! As of this writing, it has improved greatly I am pleased so far with the ease it now presents to print something I need. Keep up the improvements TY hp! |
