2025-01-27 | All the reviews I've seen about the alarm not sounding I will tell you this...in order for your alarm to ring you have to go in your settings, then go to apps, then go onto the clock app and scroll down to battery..the battery setting HAS to be on unrestricted use or it will not work. And even then sometimes your phone will automatically switch from unrestricted to optimize so then you still miss your alarm! Final thoughts...this app sucks!!
2025-01-21 | I actually use the heck out of this app. It is surprisingly versatile. I use it for: meetings, workouts, backups for calendar events, keeping my ADHD self moving right along with everything from showers to chores to phone calls to scrolling and as soon as I reach my adequate dosage of Adderall I will begin using the sleep schedule function. Quite the treasure trove for a free app!
2025-01-18 | An older version of this app worked fine on my previous phone, but now will not stfu about "⚠️ Battery saver may degrade your alarms and timer experience", literally EVERY time I open it (even when it's excluded from said restricted battery mode). Alarms also are not consistently activating, as many other reviewers explain. However, it's impossible to rollback updates or install an earlier version without these stupid bugs.
2025-01-18 | This app keeps refusing to save my timers. I'll set them, and then they'll disappear after they go off and get shut off. I need them to help manage my ADHD, keep track of work breaks and for working out. It wasn't always like this, this just started in 2024. Please get it together, google. I paid way too much for a pixel 8 xl to put up with this nonsense.
2025-01-17 | This app is extremely inconsistent. My major pain point is the voice command feature to stop the alarm without having to manually stop the alarm. It works when it wants to. And it doesn't want to work more often than it does want to work. No one at Google has an answer and it seems like a very simple problem fix if they cared about customer satisfaction.
2025-01-16 | WARNING! Never use this app for alarms! They will fail. It used to be perfect, now it's completely unreliable. Missed my medications several times due to alarm not triggering. Google doesn't care anymore. All they care about is cramming AI into the interface, and are letting all their legacy apps decay. Literally, any other clock app on the app store is more reliable than Google's clock.
2025-01-14 | The alarm was missed twice. The first time, it said the alarm was missed because the battery saver was on. I never needed to turn off the battery saver with any other alarm app. The second time the alarm was missed, it said there was an unknown error. I selected a song to wake up to through youtube music. It didn't want to play that song for some reason. I had this app for less than a week. It's not a very good alarm app.
2025-01-13 | This app has been horrible for me for a year if not longer and I honestly thought it was just me sleeping through my alarms or doing something wrong. I set an alarm every 5 mins for an hour straight and had my snooze on, made sure volume was on loud, made sure my power saving mode was off, and still would wake up late for work with a notification saying missed alarm. I had no idea so many others were having this same issue, I'm lucky I work for an amazing family or I prob wouldn't have a job.
2025-01-12 | The snooze option requires you repeat several sayings (snooze, snooze, snooze) before it works it also requires you to be signed in... well you've been sleeping for the past few hours, it also requires you have the phone in hand...there was a time where you could just slide to snooze barely took any energy...it takes so much to snooze or even stop this alarm you may as well just get up ☹️☹️
2025-01-09 | Alarm/clock (adjustable volume doesn't work, sound resembles that of a baby chime) hit the snooze button or swipe up to dismiss alarm. Google needs to improve the volume feature for those who work around heavy duty office equipment and printers! Not able to upload music lyrics from YouTube video. I prefer not to purchase a music app from Spotify, Calm, Pandora, YouTube. With a paid prescription you still receive Pop up ads! |
