How are you going to take an app that should cost £3, and charge people a misleading subscription instead. Imagine paying £30 a year for an app that identifies mushroom, and doesn't even do that well, lmao. Don't trust one bit, they've had the same issues for 4 years according to the reviews, I think I read the reviews more than the developer |

| 2024-10-18 |  | | This app is almost perfect. For uploads of past photos at home - you should pull the GPS data from the photo, instead of using the phone's current location. Otherwise, the mushroom location is marked as your home. :/ I can edit the mushroom type, but there is no way to edit location/GPS data. An ability to do so would be nice. |
| 2024-10-07 |  | | Useless. I took good clear photos of three different mushrooms, and in each case I was given photos of completely different mushrooms. Sure, a noob might consider them to be the same, but for anyone who's been gathering mushrooms for years, it's easy to tell them apart due to the diverse thickness of stems, varying color distribution on the cap, many kinds of stem to cap attachments, and other major differences, none of which this app cares about. This app is total trash. |
| 2024-09-25 |  | | My boyfriend downloaded this app to my phone and bought the _yearly_ premium service without my knowing and I wasn't super upset about it but I came back to the app almost a year later and there is no option to stop my subscription. The only option is to contact their services and I haven't gotten an email back yet but most services let you cancel with a button, not an email. Edit: I was an idiot, you can do it in the Google play app -_-' Thank you support team for dealing with my idiocy. |

You get a free trial for 7 days, but you need to COMMIT TO PAY. Credit card and everything. cancel any time, but there are no free options that do not require a subscription. It sais nothing about that in the description. |

I payed for a year of the premium access October 2023 and on my Google account it says it's still active till October 2024 but when I go to the actual app it says my subscription has ended and I have only the free site access...why pay for a year when you dont even get access for the entire year...it's August so I should have 2 more months left but nope ..can't access it! Will not be buying again because of that reason. Sorry. |
| 2024-03-06 |  | | DO NOT GET THIS APP! Any forager worth their water knows that ID apps just don't cut it. It doesn't matter how good you think it is, you NEED something more in-depth. A dichotomous key, spore prints, and multiple specimens are paramount, you simply cannot know for sure without these things. People can die from misidentification, and though mushrooms that can kill you when ingested aren't the most common, you will surely make yourself sick using this app. DO. NOT. INSTALL. |
| 2024-03-03 |  | | This is my updated rating. I did contact support. They said the photos weren't transferable between devices. I haven't had that problem across multiple phones on this app for years. I sent screenshots to prove I had photos I didn't take on this phone and they quit responding. |

If you selected the free trial, they automatically set you up with the one year subscription. Not the one month or the one week. The one YEAR. Which is $30. Kinda steep for missing the cut-off day by 3 days. I would definitely stay away from this app. |
