2025-01-27	Greg	I constantly have to open the app to have the lyrics notification pop up, sometimes it don't even show and I got to pause the song to search for it, pointless feature if it doesn't work. Also the recently played always has a hard time updating, I could be 10 songs in and it'd be showing last nights last played.
2025-01-26	VJ Therence	Great app for finding lyrics & learning the meanings behind them. I do have a small issue with the Suggest Genius Lyrics feature. For example, Taylor Swift has rerecorded some of her albums, & these are labeled as Taylor's Version. When I play a song like Style (Taylor's Version), the app suggests lyrics from the older, original version instead. It seems like the app doesn’t fully recognize songs with parentheses in the title. I hope this gets improved because the rest of the app is excellent.
2024-12-25	Kief Chief	Not picking up lyrics for songs playing anymore. It was working fantastically about 2 ish weeks ago and now no matter what it never updates/syncs lyrics for the songs I listen to anymore. Already went through settings and disabled and then turned back on sync lyrics again, allowed permissions, still did not fix the issue.
2024-12-18	Danny Ruiz	I've been using this app for a while, and the lyrics would pop up while listening to music. Now, all of a sudden, they're asking to enable permissions to allow them to read text messages? For what? I've never enabled that and it's worked, but now they need access? No thank you, uninstalled!

Quickly find the Songs and possible lyrics.But 2 suggestions: 1) For Songs which app can't find lyrics, save them in my music too.in this way we can contribute to app and add the lyrics later.In my native language app couldn't find the lyrics for more than 50% of the songs but it successfully identifies the song so we can contribute to the app & lyrics later.2) if you can please implement synchronized lyrics like the ones in musicmatch & SoundHound.
2024-12-01	Mark Henning	Since the last update literally doesn't work, the notifications either don't bring me to the song or just send me to a broken page Edit 12/23; now there's 5 seconds unskippable ads playing when you click on lyrics. Just what I wanted to play while also listening to music. Thank you for ruining yourself genius Edit again 12/24; app just straight up doesn't sync with spotify anymore, seems like their weird partnership with Apple is finally pushing spotify users out which is a shame
2024-11-30	Hailey Blaschko	Love the website, usually like the app too... but the last 2 months I have been having issues with the app keeping up with what song is currently playing. Now it isn't tracking it at all. Hoping the next update will fix! UPDATE 11/29/24 - new update fixed it! Thanks, dev team :)
2024-11-22	Krystal Campbell	This app was great most of the time. There had always been an issue with songs playing not always being picked up, but now the about section is completely gone from the app. I love reading the songs background, and the more obscure songs don't have lyrics annotated, so that was all you had, but it's gone now.

I'm from the site, and this is clearly designed for listeners rather than contributers, but here's what I like: -The interface feels way more optimized for mobile -has a dark mode -the extra info on song pages is hidden, but easily accessable -you can download song pages to view offline -it can, when you listen to a song it, drop a notif to the lyrics and save that page to your "recently listened" But you can't propose edits annotations or abouts I think :(
2024-08-05	McKown Family	Great app, hands down the best lyrics software I've ever used, although I did prefer when on the website there was a drop down menu for translations and romanizations as opposed to on the app where you have to search the language for translation or add "romanized" to the end of your search or they won't show up, which took me a long time to figure out. Overall, great, though!!
