It's a very effective battery monitoring application. Even though the widget ought to be active on switching on the handset. The current version shows the battery status after clicking the app shortcut. It's also important for the % display to either increase with time during charging and progressively decrease when not changing.

Elimosaria Maeda, 2024-04-30This app shows the battery percentage at the top of the screen in a font size that is visible to me. I like that because battery level is easily viewed at a glance. Other widgets I tried required opening the widget. I also find the provided stats useful.
