Love the music and uniqueness but it won't let me go past the very first level. When I complete it the other worlds are not unlocked for me. Please fix this issue and I'll give a better review.

I've tried everything to unlock the second level. I tried beating level one in one attempt, I wanted to try to beat it without checkpoints but it won't let me, I tried dying at every checkpoint, no luck. Game's broken. Please fix.
