2024-12-22 | I mean the game is fine but it does not match at all with all the ads I've seen. Edit, instead of promoting what you would do in the game or the game at all, the developers double downed and is now making ads for a completely different game and trying to pass it as if it was the game. Just make ads about your game. It's a city builder with a different capture mechanic (when you unlock it).
2024-12-06 | I really like this game. It is fun with good voice acting and neat characters. I would rate it with 5 stars. However, I am playing it through the FreeCash app and have not been credited for most of the goals I have met. If you want a fun game where you can make friends and unlock neat stuff, then it's great. But stay away if you are using the FreeCash app.
2024-11-19 | Call of Dragons takes the server-based PvPvE mobile genre, and adds a healthy mix of RTS strategy and PvE raids, creating an exciting new twist on an old, favorite format. The advantage will initially go to the players with the deepest pockets, but free players will rejoice because, with time and patience, all fields will eventually level. I've been thoroughly enjoying my time in the game, along with all the friends I've made.
2024-11-18 | Clone of other games I've played, with a LONG, UNSKIPPABLE cutscene at the very beginning, and a LONG tutorial before getting to any setting options (sound/music/vibration). Okay on its own merits, but far too many extra animations that slow things down that I would honestly rather not have.
2024-11-05 | The developers go out of their way to satisfy play to win people. All rewards are obtainable if you pay a significant amount of money. Those who are free to play or barely pay get very little compensation. And recent changes really give no way for low spenders to compete. The best heros, artifacts etc... are all obtainable if you pay money. And not just little amounts really significant amounts must be spent to get them. I put 2 stars since the game has great graphics and fighting mechanics.
2024-11-01 | Honestly I'm enjoying it overall. It IS undeniably pay to win, but that edge evens out over time, making it more about who has better information and tactics. It would be better for player retention if that process could be sped up though. The general opacity of the game's systems feels frustrating at times, but also very satisfying when you figure something out to gain an edge over the competition. It's definitely a double-edged sword of sorts. Very stylized visuals, you may love or hate.
2024-10-29 | This has the world's longest storyline at the very beginning with no option to skip it. I had to put my phone down while it played out. I eventually got tired of waiting for it to end and just uninstalled it. Word of advice for the developers, no one really wants to watch some dragged out storyline line at the beginning of the game. Either make it shorter and faster or add a skip button. Who knows if the game is good because the story at the beginning took way too long to get through.
2024-10-28 | Pretty terrible game, I can't believe it didn't have a skip option for it's terribly cartoonish opening cutscene.. and to find out it's basically a bad base building game and has no other redeeming qualities was a quick reason to uninstall. No one wants more base building games, they all have the same annoying qualities and they're just boring to play!
2024-09-27 | This game has the worst, most annoying battle system every invented. You frequently have to fight multiple enemies, but after defeating one you have to manually click the next, pick the legion on a right menu, and deploy. For each legion. You frequently have missions where 1-2s is the difference between winning and losing, and the battle system is so clunky they're impossible to win. Hard pass.
2024-09-03 | Edit after a year. The game is pretty fun now, there are some hiccups here and there but nothing noteworthy. Clearing fog is simple, gameplay can be funner if it allowed variety in marches, but I understand that's part of the strategy. My main problem is the ads. The ads are nonsense, fake gameplay, fake game concepts and formula. It's used other established titles and concepts like SCP to push their ads even though it's totally unrelated. That's incredibly lame, have faith in your own game. |
