2024-09-11 | I've only used it for simple recordings but I've seen what the features are and it's very impressive for a mobile app. One big ask. Please implement keyboard controls like protocols, reaper, or audacity support for Dex and other docked options. And maybe even some view formatting for larger screens where pop up boxes dont cover the whole screen when in hdmi mode. It has some amazing features not unlike a pc daw that it would cool to use it like one.
2024-08-19 | Good interface that's easy to use. I wish they had a way to search for should that isn't just scrolling to find what you want in there given library, or available in a purchase pack. A browser that searches both would be really helpful, along with samples would be great. Also would likely sell more in app purchases too. As I've down with my other DAWs. Thanks!
2022-12-01 | Can't say enough positive things about this app. The fx that are included are great and the Toneboosters fx that you can buy are amazing and well worth the few dollars that they cost. Same for the midi instruments / drum sets. I've used both Logic and Cubase extensively in the past and am getting better sounding results with AE. I'd say there's a bit of a learning curve, but I think that's true anytime you start working with a new DAW. Great support from the developers as well.
2022-01-22 | This is an incredible software to record, edit, mix, and publish audio on a digital device. I tried some other DAW apps that might have most of the features offered by Audio Evolution, but the quality of the functionality and the UI of this app is unsurpassed! Once you learn to use the app UI everything you want to accomplish is a click or 2 away. A lot of thought and expertise went into building this app. I can't think of any software I've worked recently years with more complete documentation
2021-06-23 | I've been using this app for about 2 years. it WAS excellent. The latest update completely crashed the reposition clip option. this change makes the app useless. It has a latency between the record command and execution which is never the same amount of time. This makes it just another single track recorder where you can't do anything that requires multiple tracks to be in time with each other. It says to hold the track and it will allow movement, but that doesn't work.
2021-04-18 | Im returning to this app after months of not using it. it worked fine in the past, but now It just seems broken. I can't get it to respond to hardly any of my commands. Only simple things work like moving the green scrolling arrow, or solo/mute/EQ a track. But even then, only an interface for one track is available rather than one for each individual imported track. Tapping on the specific track I want to edit does not change anything either.
2021-03-13 | Super frustrated! So havent used the app in awhile and now I can't edit anything. These little white boxes appear and I move them around and it does nothing. No option to do anything after moving them around. How do I edit tracks like I used to be able to do? I used to be able to cut part of a track out from the middle and put those 2 pieces back together minus the part in the middle. Now I click on "cut" and nothing gets cut. Not user friendly like it used to be.
2020-12-08 | Edit 1: Finally added a metronome feature a bit ago which is the only reason this app was not very useful in mobile audio vocal recording. Now that it has one, well, see you later FL Studio Mobile. Desktop version of FL only for me. Edit 2: No way to split headphone out and a USB MAudio DAC (Micro DAC 16 bit to be exact) as far as I know. Basically mobile version of Audacity in a nutshell. Seems to be an Android Q issue as it only plays audio out of one output on everything, anything anyways. 👍
2020-10-29 | You've DESTROYED this app with "update". It's absolutely horrible now. I had it mastered and it was amazing. I blew the minds of people who used super expensive programs on computer. Now.. it's garbage. It's not about adapting to change. It's now less versatile and not user friendly, intuitive any more. I used to suggest it highly to people but now it's useless.
2020-08-29 | The last time I reviewed this app. was two years ago to the day. I still love this app., it's the only Android app. I use to do all of my recording for music and sound effects and on the plus side it works with all of my ZOOM audio interfaces, the: UAC 2, U 24, and U 44. Again thank you for all the hard work that has gone into this great app. |
