2023-11-26 | This app works for a couple seconds then prompts you to rate it or plays an ad. When you don't rate it, it freezes. Absolute waste of time. Can't even use it long enough to determine if it actually works!
2023-08-19 | I needed to find the iron stake that was a property marker. My metal detector was broke. Downloaded this app. The first thing detected was a large iron rock. So I new the app was working. The second thing detected was the iron stake I was looking for. Absolutely works as described.
2023-06-10 | Simple and does what it says. Won't detect gold for me. Although, this is likely due to hardware limitations. Would be nice it the app could detect hardware and give approximations.
2023-06-09 | I don't normally do app reviews but shout out to this 👏🏾 I do piering work and a customer was looking for a rod under ground near her window(for reason, so basically digging blind i found this app as a joke and went in the basement and put it against the wall and it actually helped! Was able to find it with ease after moving to the right location( I was digging too far right).Saved my friday
2023-04-25 | Great app with a lot of features that i need. Just one issue- the video ads kill the experience. Keep them to the banners on the top and bottom of the screen, maximum. 4 stars for me!
2023-04-19 | For all the scientists out there: This app uses your phone's internal magnetic compass to measure magnetic fields (that's also why you calibrate by circling your phone) It is not a metal detector, those detect the "reflection" of their own emitted EM radiation. This app detects permanent magnetic fields, (like the one emitted by the Earth) so it won't react to non-ferromagnetic metals (copper, aluminium, lead, etc)
2023-03-29 | Annoying app 🙄 doesn't stay in position keeps flipping back and forth, either make it only in portrait mode or have an option to rotate the screen.
2023-03-07 | Are you serious?! I downloaded this on a fluke to try and find a (very shallowly) buried softball base plug. I was skeptical but I ran my phone gently over the ground and found it in ten seconds after digging and scraping for over ten minutes. I was skeptical but doggonit it worked really well for this particular application. Kudos to the devs.
2023-02-14 | This app does everything it promises. But it works on electromagnetic waves making it overact to magnets. Make sure to check the paragraph bellow to the matels that are far. I didn't try it on the beach but I will try it soon. Shortly, It does everything it promises and works really well. LOOKS 9/10 The background and the layout is cool. But not perfect. But it rotates non stop. FEATURES 8/10 It only does what it promises. That's what I want. ADS 10/10 No ads.
2023-02-06 | I do like the app, but it could be better. I do like that it doesn't beep and vibrate when it does detect metal, and also that you have the option of turning it off. I do like the fact that it's showing some sort of unit of measure when detecting, but I don't like the fact that doesn't tell us what that unit of measure is. I'd also like a list of possible metals that any given reading gives. But still neat concept, just could be something better. |
