2025-02-03 | Really unhappy. Paid 30 dollars for the yearly subscription, and in return, I get a broken bugged app. I wanted to use the app, but I can't because it crashes. I contacted support, so hopefully, they can fix the issue. If they do, I'll fix the review. *Update* The developer responded fast, and they're looking into the issue.
2025-01-13 | I only started using this app today. First impressions are good. I am delighted that the app update across devices without having to backup and then import back on another device. The low rating is because of the font size within the app for habit name. Would love to be able to make this bigger due to limited vision.
2024-12-13 | This is great! Habit Tracker shows me my progress and motivates me to keep up my habits. It's super easy to set up and edit my habits, and I can look back at my progress as well as fill in a day that I didn't mark originally. It's fun to see my color board fill up throughout the day and the whole board over time!
2024-07-15 | Love it! I tried a few habit apps but the others seemed like tedious task checklists. This one is visually pleasing and easy to check off the color blocks. I like the break a habit feature as well, and that I can set what time of day I want to perform the habit. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the lifetime price is a bit steep. I chose one year and we will see after that. Lifetime should not be more than $50, imo.
2024-05-28 | I love this app :) It's simple, sleek, and pretty. Easy to use and easy to see progress. It shares research-based info about how we form habits. Overall really nice app, glad I switched from the one I used to use. I hope they add more colors in future (seven options now, but no pink!) It would probably profit more with more subscribers at a lower price point. I don't regret overspending for it, though.
2023-10-14 | This is a wonderful app! It is so simply laid out and functional. Exactly what I needed. Not any extra stuff to distract you. It isn't distracting or overwhelming. Just exactly what you need. And the first seven days, you get really helpful, actionable, science based advice and then no spam or bothering you besides a check in at the one month mark, that has more good advice.
2023-10-06 | I really do love the core functionalities of this app, and whatever the dev needs to make their business model to be able to get an acceptable pay? I'm all for it! No complaints. That being said, from the consumer side, I do find the subscription a tiny bit limiting. The free version really does feel like a trial run, with only 3 habits available. The yearly subscription price is ok, but given that it mostly just provides access to more habits, I wish it was less than $100 to buy it outright.
2023-04-12 | Great idea. Deceitful practice of having no mention of limiting to 3 habits until you pay for the subscription. Feels like a bait and switch. They should just put the cost of the app up front. Edit: response to dev It does mention 3 habits in the description. At the very bottom.... after about 10 paragraphs of other text... once again not a forthright response from you. Imo it's pretty obvious that you realized you can make more money by tricking people into thinking its free, then asking for $
2023-01-17 | It is really cute, and easy to use. No issues with it there. However, I noticed the first time I opened the app it reads, "Create an account to save your habits and access them anywhere. It's free. Forever." But after making 3 habits, I learned that isn't exactly accurate. It just feels like a lie by omission. I probably wouldn't have bothered making an account + 3 habits if I knew that was all I could do without paying.
2022-08-25 | This so is incredibly helpful. It's is simple to set up and use. It allows just enough customization to be practical without being burdensome. The visualization is clear and pretty so it's is motivating. I love the option to set reminders (or not). The widget is the icing on the cake - visually attractive and very useful. The free version includes 3 habits to track and includes the widget. I could have done with just that, but the annual subscription is very reasonable for such a great app. |
