It's very heavy on the pay-to-win. And it's filled with a lot of useless things as well as some counter-intuitive things. There's an annoying news crawl that you can't turn off, you can only pause. Game crashes EVERY TWO MINUTES and you end up spending more time reloading than in gameplay. The one good thing I can say about it is the that the frequent multiple app-crashes don't affect the game play all that much. It's a game that the developers need to work on. Maybe hire someone that can code.

I would not play this game. It is a waste of money and time. Yes, it is a war game. It is an unfair advantage when a higher level, like 30 or above, just keeps slaughtering at a low level for no reason. There are no set rules; most games like this have 10-level regulations to keep it entertaining. I have played many war games like this for years.

I love this game, I've played it for almost 4 years, I pay alot of money into it. Lately I have noticed it cheats or allows others to cheat. I've seen asian players attack capitals without ever dropping their shields, also an asian player did an instant attack across the map in one second without ever moving to my location to get my resources. I watched the heros move in an instant. Watch out for the game cheats. I don't know how they do it but the game allows this. Support is useless in helping

Started really playing today. I love the play so far. It has great quests to follow. Building up seems to be more time-consuming because you have to pay for additional workers that only work for a finite time, but if you're patient and do not care about this, it works ok. I wish there was more instruction on how to fight certain aspects on the world map. However, that simply just could be me and my misunderstanding. With more play time, I will rereview. I do enjoy this game so far!

So far, the game is enjoyable, but the first thing I noticed when booting up the game is that the background music isn't theirs it's the elder scrolls 5 Skyrim tavern theme. I've played games that take sound clips from Skyrim all the time, but they make it very apparent by giving credit to the game or studio. Here, I can't seem to find that anywhere. I might be missing some thing, but other than that, the gameplay is like any other mobile kingdom builder. So if you like those games, go for it.

False Advertisement! I got ad on 🇺🇸 youtube that said "First PC game I've ever played......" connecting it to Age of Empires, and using VERY similar gameplay. I was confused. I tried to find what this "Rising" game that came in 1990s was, couldn't find it. Given, Age of Empires mobile coming out soon(I think), I'm confused how this is not 1. Copyright infringement. 2. False Advertisement. 3. Misleading customers

I've been playing this game for a while now. I agree with others who have said it is nothing like AOE (how it was advertised on Facebook) and which is why I started playing in the first place; however, it is a fun game. The developers are responsive to questions and bug issues. It is easy to learn and level up in the beginning. While it is very much a pay to win game, you can still level up without spending a lot - it will just take longer.

Updated ** I have been playing for a bit over a month now. Sad to say it is very much a pay to play game. It is fun initially, and in lower levels, it is easy to level up quickly, but as you get higher, leveling up buildings/researching takes a long time and tons of resources. If you don't spend money, you plateau and get demolished by people who do. I was so excited at first but sorely disappointed as time goes.

False advertisement. Nothing like ages of empires that the add made it look like. After the response from the developer, I will add a little more. Yes it has all kinds of different things to do. It's not a bad game, but it is NOTHING LIKE AGES OF IMPIRES! Which your add on tik tok or Facebook, where ever I saw it, makes it look like. I loved that game and was very disappointed when I downloaded this one to find out it's very similar to other mobile games I have played in the past. Not a bad game!

Fun game, however has a bunch of bugs still which need fixing. For example I already researched 6 or 7 times in college tier 2 infantry, cavalry, & archery. The research would complete but it'll show nothing, like I never researched it. I already tried everything, I paid diamonds for it and still no result. Very frustrating! If they're willing to fix, I'll change my rating. However for now I would not advise to spend money on game which doesn't work properly yet. Otherwise, I like it overall
