Works but has issues. Games play flawlessly, but running into an issue where I can't add more games to my "play list". My phone will install them no problem, so i have space, but ePSXe won't even attempt to load files after 9 or 10 games. The app itself is a DEFINITE 5 STAR simply because I have Dino Crisis, TLOD, and Ridge Racer R4 with me anywhere. I just can't figure out why I can't add more games to it. Really pissing me off.

The graphics are as good as the original games the controls are ok the touch screen sucks though because they made the button touch a little to small and changing it is complicated, but all in all this is a good app especially for those hard to find games for PS1 I wish they would have the buttons bigger by default.

Great emulator, is easy to use and games boot up well. Only problem is some of the games freeze. Like I was playing resident evil 3 and it would freeze for like 5 minutes just randomly everytime I would enter a new section. It runs well when it works right but fix this. Otherwise it would be 5 stars cuz it's one of the best ps1 emulators I've ever used.

I don't like the buttons layout but everything else is amazing I just added a controller and it's perfect but I wish you could change the button layout and size of buttons. My favorite part is that my phone was a little slow and the game kept freezing but the emulator has an option for overclocking the CPU and now the game runs smoothly and my phone doesn't even overheat add 2x CPU capacity

I like this app a lot. I got some old games I haven't played since I was a kid, but I'm having issues with the save states. I go to load it and the saved game looks all messed up, it's unplayable, sp I have to start my games all over again. It's irritating.

Hands down my favorite PlayStation 1 emulator of all time. I'm editing my review because I thought it could not save files but I just did further testing and it created a save. Still the most lag free PS1 emulator ever. The Android version is superior to the PC one in my opinion. PCSX1 and swan station have audio clicks. I don't get that with epsxe. There seems to be a one to two minute save delay. Please add a notification for when saving is completed if possible. Thank you for making this!

ePSXe has been an enjoyable experience in almost every way. My biggest issue is that my save files don't always match up with the save I've just made. I mostly play Legend of Dragoon, and when I save in-game, the memory card will update from 24hrs to 36hrs of play time, but when I go to save at the next save point, the game will show the 26hrs playtime save file, and not the 36hrs file. Save states have been a good workaround, but I would like to have both save files and save states working.

This is an amazing Playstation 1 emulator, it runs most of the games I played on it with little to no problems, it has savestates and built in cheats, and you can use controllers too. This is the best all in one Playstation emulator, I highly recommend it to anyone who has a few bucks to spend. However the main problem I have with this emulator is for whatever reason when I close the app for any reason when im playing a game, when I try to resume play it instantly crashes. (Might be my phone)

Great emu app. Easy to work with, easy to get games to install and run. I haven't had much issue. My only real complaint is that, at least as far as I can tell, you can only have 15 games installed to your library. Why? It's the PS1. There's like seven quintillion titles available, 10% classic. Addendum: It appears the app actually just bricks and doesn't let you add ANY more games whenever it feels like. First time was 15, but after unintalling and reinstalling it was 7, then 6, then 8. Tf?

Love the app, but ran into issue after toggling framerate :( was playing DMW3 and toggled framerate to try and get through an area faster, and now my game is freezing? (Though can still hear the music and background wallpaper still moves) but it just...freezes in a way and won't let me proceed. Reloading, uninstalling and reinstalling didn't work..don't really want to start all the way over but idk what to do :( playing on updated Android galaxy s21+
