2023-07-24 | I'm level 24 so far, so I don't know how much weight this review holds, but I plan to update if anything changes! : I'm not sure why this is so underrated! No ads, no bugs so far, and the gameplay really depends on how you build your character and how easy it is to continue through dungeons. Multi-player is great! Might feel a bit grindy at times, but I don't mind that. That's part of leveling up and getting gear in every other RPG I've played. Thanks for the fun game!
2023-03-15 | Fun to click through for a couple minutes, but the gameplay is very repetitive/grindy. It devolves into just clicking "attack" over and over again to try to unlock new dungeon levels. Maybe it gets more interesting later on (I see other reviews mentioning level 70 being fun), but I can't imagine how much time you would have to spend grinding to get there.
2022-01-03 | It's turn based classic style rpg with different levels. You can queue up for multiplayer and return to your solo adventure right where you left off make custom dungeons for others to play, fully customizable character abilities, and best of all any purchases are optional. They are for cosmetic or convenience purposes instead of pay to win. Everything I look for in a mobile game. I can see myself playing this one for quite some time
2021-11-08 | Strategic rock-paper-scissors style combat. Nicely balanced skill tree to build your character in a variety of useful ways. Especially fun in the beginning with rapid advancement & rewards for effort. Starts out single player, transitions into multiplayer, hopefully moving more towards pvp as the community grows. I was reluctant to join Discord just to learn about a game, but happy now that I did. The players are friendly & the developer chats with them every day. Got an idea? He might use it.
2021-08-26 | I would love to give it five stars but I have two issues. One is that Everytime I go to play no matter how many times I play this game, the game still trust to get me to do the tutorial even though I'm level 30. On top of that at the same point the tutorial is not enough to actually understand the game like a previous gamer said the tutorial is not enough I don't understand the game still like counter and attack I don't get the difference between them. As an example.
2021-08-24 | I rather like the layout. It's like a D&D arcade game where you can join other people in a dungeon. It is rather a blast to play. The only problem I have is the bottom menu where you can access skill trees items and equipment the buttons are so close together it is difficult to navigate them. That is the only issue I have. Thank you for such a wonderful game.
2021-08-21 | It has some really fun mechanics for the dungeon shop, and the way the skill line is thought out gives the impression that the developers actually tried to make the game enjoyable. As the description says there aren't even ads. It's a very fun game when you need something to do, and I can't wait for all the updates that it has yet to gain. Definitely worth trying at the least.
2021-08-21 | Great game, would have given it 5 stars, but there are 2 major issues. 1 is that you can't play without internet even when not playing multiplayer which doesn't make much sense and shouldn't be a thing, and 2 is that there isn't any fast and easy way to learn how to play, most of the mechanics you have to figure out on your own and I only learned the difference between countering and activating at around level 5 meaning before that I was randomly pushing buttons until I won.
2021-06-12 | Really nice game to pass the time. There are no ads, no data collection, no daily quests, no push notifications urging you to play more. Plenty of viable options for character building. But I really can't overstate how refreshing it is to play a mobile game that's not just a vessel to collect your data and push ads in your face. Dungeon Masters is how mobile games should be done!
2021-05-08 | Very grindy gameplay in a good way. Emulates that old school RPG style very well. The devs seem very active so I'm sure new content is on the horizon too. My main complaint is it can be hard to find info about all of the games systems. I'm unsure exactly how much my mage-warrior hybrid buff is doing for me, or what the difference between a level 4 or 5 Thrust is numerically. It can also be hard to remember all of the tutorials, I believe skills level up by using them but I cant verify this. |
