I've used the beta version for years and it works seamlessly. Two caveats: 1) searches must be keyed-in because the microphone is disabled due virtual private network function; 2) be careful deleting home page bookmarks. I deleted one such bookmark recently during tidying unused sites and, instantly, my sizable inventory of DDG bookmarks disappeared along with the app itself. Had to reinstall DDG and recreate my library of bookmarks. Neverthe less, DuckDuckGo is my go-to search engine.

I love this browser, especially since it keeps my personal and browsing data away from the big tech companies. There is nothing more infuriating than searching or even just talking about something and then being bombarded with hundreds of targeted ads about it. I have to admit there is something satisfying when DuckDuckGo tells me what sites and companies were fishing for my data and that they were blocked from doing so! The browser works just like any other, fast and responsive! I recommend it!
