| 2025-01-24 |  | | It uses AliExpress app, if you block it, you can't use your map or adjust any settings. Even if you block it, AliExpress still shows up in your network traffic. It uploads MB of info a day. But all good mopping robots will probably do this since all I could find when I bought it 2 years ago, were from this certain country. |

I was used to have navigation buttons here, now there are Clean and Dock buttons there... Whoever made the call about this feature should shovel coal instead. Maybe adding an option would solve the frustration. People who care about the look could hide whatever they want, and normies could keep the useful UX. |

This leaves you scheduling ten times more tasks, just a complete objective. So, instead of me scheduling six rooms to be vacuumed, I have to schedule one room at a time, so it empties. |

This is not only annoying, but now i click "stop cleaning" every time i want to exit the app. When it comes to the vacuum, for the last few months instead of going back to base station, it goes to a different room every time it finishes cleaning the assigned rooms. As a result, it tend to get entangled or stock when it gets into my kids' playroom. |

But the map needs exact positioning for virtual walls that must be starting and ending exactly on other walls and it's almost impossible to position them exactly since they are hidden below my finger while dragging to adjust the position. So I can still use my navigation bar at the bottom And after I clicked into the vacbot. It takes the full screen mode. And I have to first swipe up, then the nav bar appear. It is not deadly problem. But it is annoying. Eg. When I am looking at the bot cleaning progress (the map), I want to click "Back" bar at the bottom left, but I accidentally paused the cleaning. Coz the nav bar was hided |

The Dreame L40 Ultra is absolutely AMAZING and the app works perfectly fine for me on Android with a Samsung S24 Ultra. Just today two languages were added for direct voice control. I think Dreame can take over the cleaning robot world if they keep up their good work!! One improvement would be the option to limit the battery charge to 80% and only go to 100% shortly before a cleaning run. |
| 2024-12-16 |  | | I love my L20 ultra. It's very efficient and does an amazing job. The only problem I've had is with the direct drive camera on the app not working properly. In the beginning it worked great, but now.. not so much. The other thing that's not the best is that the collection bin doesn't discharge the greatest. Sometimes, larger pieces of things stay in there and end up causing me to stop the bot and empty it myself, but that's not a huge thing at all. Overall, I am very happy with it. |
