It is a great concept but poor execution. The texts are not adapted to the levels. I tried a beginner 1 level in Russian and since I am a teacher, these texts are for level 2B, not even 2A. I tried Spanish with the similar outcome. Too many words are in level beginner 1. So it feels like an attempt to use AI to just generate texts and profit. The profit is excellent but service is poor.

The cheap AI art made me fear for the worst and it was quickly confirmed: given the number of mistakes in both my target language (Finnish) and the English translations, this is clearly just some AI generated texts. The mistakes I found made me very distrustful of the texts I read, as I'm always unsure if I should actually learn from them or if I'm better off without the app altogether. I was excited for this app but I won't subscribe, selling AI texts without proofreading is ridiculous.
