2025-02-04 | Exploring various anime genres can be an enriching experience. Discovering new animation styles and storytelling approaches is always exciting. The sheer variety of themes ensures there's something for every taste. From heartwarming tales to action-packed adventures, the possibilities are endless. Immersing yourself in these worlds offers a unique form of entertainment.
2025-02-03 | Not going to probably cancel my membership, very annoyed that my videos that I downloaded keep going expired especially since I downloaded them knowing I am going to be in the field so I wont be able to have access to internet. Sucks especially on deployments was hoping to have something to be able to watch on my downtime. Please fix or extend this idk why we cant have a show downloaded (no expiration date or if any at least a month) and then when we finish delete it to be able to download other
2025-02-02 | It's nice, but the parent company takes full advantage of the fact that it's basically the only anime media platform. It doesn't even have a feedback system other media have, like the Like/ Dislike feature on YouTube for episodes, and they removed the option to add comments on videos as well. These were options in the past, but they removed them without warning or explanation over the past couple of years. But if lack of community is not an issue, it's still a great platform for anime generally.
2025-01-31 | Well, it is great for watching anime it's horrible for actually tracking and organizing it. When I mark something as watched you'd think it'd remove it from the main feed, and stop showing it when I look for new shows. But no, my recommended shows I've watched, marked them as so and they still haven't changed. I got to try to find something new and I have to search through dozens of shows I've already watched. And it's really annoying and a waste of time. It should be sectioned.
2025-01-29 | The previous bug seems to have disappeared; however, a new minor bug has appeared. If I pause a video and do not completely close the app, when I use my microphone for anything—from asking Google something to using speech-to-text for typing—once the microphone turns off, the video will start playing again, even in the background on the lock screen.
2025-01-28 | Love the app, easy to use, disappointed that they got rid of the comment section. Feels like I'm one of the only people who likes the anime I watch, not being able to hear other people's thoughts on my favorite anime. Also, why are some anime listed on crunchyroll on Google, but when I go to it, It has no episodes even if the anime is finished. This is the most frustrating since it is usually the top result for where I can watch whatever anime it is that isn't on crunchyroll.
2025-01-28 | Feature request: Need the ability to see when the anime episode airs by clicking on that individual anime apart from that upcoming list. Update 1: They recently added a profile system so now you can individually select your anime which may or may not be different from other users in the same login. Great app to view anime content at a very cheap subscription. Only two issues are profile system and variety of anime. Apart from that some UX changes are welcome if done correctly.
2025-01-27 | I had complained about Crunchyroll's poor service on reddit a while ago. It was true that they had some horrible streaming capabilities at the time. They have come a long way since then. It is now viable to watch anime on their platform. The reason for only giving 3 stars is because I noticed that I have to switch off of my preferred resolution and back onto it in order to get it to work. Fixing this can make it 4 stars. 5 stars would require more time from me on the platform.
2025-01-26 | I love this service except for 1 thing. Why, and with all sincerity, are all of the crunchy roll opening credits about 200% louder than the show. I can not understand why the volume of this would be so obnoxiously and intentionally louder than any show. That's it. I feel the need to always have to man the remote at the beginning of every episode to either mute or bypass this annoying feature. This has and will always take away from the experience of using the service.
2025-01-25 | ReRating this from 1 to 3 stars as quality & reliability of all their platforms (mobile/Xbox/smart tv app Etc.) have greatly improved. In prior rating, not 1 of their platforms could broadcast 1 single 23 min episode w/out crashing many times let alone even just once. Now I rarely have any crashes or lag. My only concern now is a report their service may be hacked. I've reached out to c.s. & 1 day later still nada but an auto reply. Thus no 4 rating. |
