2024-12-02 | I used to have the old version of Color Switch. It was fun, and the music was good. At some point it disappeared from the app store and I forgot about it. I recently decided I wanted to play the game again to reminisce, but unfortunately, this new version (which from what I understand is not owned by the original creator) is terrible. The background music is low quality and audibly grainy, and the levels are different - worse - than they used to be.
2024-11-11 | After getting 96% completion on the old version (Got stuck on some really tricky levels), I'm so happy to see this game's return! This was one of my favorite mobile games growing up and I love how new and improved everything is in it, like plenty of new gamemodes, multiple daily challenges, and more types of cosmetics in the shop. Thank you for bringing back this legendary game ♥️
2024-10-16 | Has good intentions I guess and could be a fun game. However, when playing the game the spinning circles are way to close to each other in levels. This makes it extremely hard to maintain a constant spot as you are tapping the screen. For me personally the screen was moving up by itself and made the experience frustrating. The overall idea of this game was really good! But the experience for me was not.
2024-07-15 | It was really fun, but with a few bugs. 1. There is a visual bug where some stars on Firefly mode do not disappear when collected. 2. Some obstacles on Deep Ocean mode are harmless regardless of color. 3. There are only three petal pieces at the first 4 levels of Lucky mode, as one of them is replaced by a disappearing full clover, meaning level 4 will never be marked with a number, not a clover, which is unsatisfying to see. (Edit: My name is Matthew, not Michael.)
2024-06-06 | Great time killer. Starts off pretty easy but gets challenging. Tons of levels to keep you involved. I just wish they would give me the trophy for completing the rate the game achievement. I've rated it a few times now and still it won't give me the trophy. That's rather annoying as I'm a completionist
2023-11-08 | I remember playing this as a little kid, and decided to reinstall it. I liked the old ver. better, but now I understand why they needed to rebuild it. The new one did improve some things though. I miss black & white mode, it's been replaced by bee. Many of the old soundtracks in modes were better. Even though we can't get the old version back, this app is still really enjoyable and nostalgic. :)
2023-11-02 | I am a completionist, and right now I am trying to complete all the classic mode levels, however there are lag spikes that drop my ball all the wall down to the bottom of the screen. This is really frustrating. I don't want to uninstall and reinstall, because I have completed over half of all the 3.3k+ levels. Other than the random lag spikes, it's a good game.
2023-08-25 | The ads aren't a pain since there's not many, and there's a lot of modes. If you get bored with classic, just try endless! It's also pretty much the same modes so you'll probably find the mode you like on endless. And it doesn't need Wi-Fi to work, so it's perfect for traveling as long as you're willing to spend a few stars. The stars are also easy to get and there's a lot of skin/color customization options with them. I would recommend this to literally ANYONE who wants to install a game. 👍💯
2023-08-14 | the ads don't feel intrusive and I like having a game that I can actually fully play offline and have it still work. plus, all the different modes and options to play in either stages or endless are great. definitely feels like the game has improved since i first played it years ago. however, one lil thing- I definitely beat my high score on endless run mode earlier today, like, by a longshot, but when i opened the game next, it displayed my previous high score. that really irritated me ngl.
2023-06-03 | Fun game to play. No wifi or data needed. Can get a little repetitive, but you can always just pick a different mode since there are so many. Easy to pick up and play for beginners and something you can play without putting too much thought into it while still having fun. There are ads, but it isn't too bad. I bought no ads (can't remember how much but it was cheap.) Overall, I recommend. |
