| 2025-01-30 |  | | I would like to be able to listen to live broadcasts without having to stream the video with the screen having to be on. It kills my battery and wastes data. I've suggested this a while back in 2018 but nobody listens. When i'm at work, I want to listen to the c n n app and your broadcasts on my headphones. My phone would be in my case. About 1 minute later, the broadcast stops playing in my headphones until I take the phone out of my case, illuminate the screen, and hit play again. Fix it!!! |
| 2025-01-16 |  | | The app itself not to bad. Has plenty to read on. But when it comes to the listen feature. It's trash. About 3 mins of content and 10 mins of the same ads over and over. And almost everytime I use it(which is alot) sometimes the transmission just cuts out and straight to an adult. Or ad cuts out and straight to the middle of a broadcast. Very close to deleting. If I can find an alternative. |

Inasmuch, CNN is strong news and powerful coverage of events from around the world and right here at home. This app needs to be fully updated, but nonetheless, it is still a great app that I can normally see world news better instead of watching some awful biased opinions, MAGA extremism talk, and more of the BS. |

This means excessive mega-scrollong to barely get through a topic list. Please have a compact view option. |

Nothing to do with the internet browser, connection, or location. CNN does NOT pay me to stare at a circling arrow endlessly. I can open the news elsewhere and get the whole story before CNN will start it. Phooey! |

Would give it 0 stars if I could. Also, I used the app to get the news rapidly, in text. Now, a lot of the content is presented as videos preceded by 13 sec ads. If I wanted to do that I could watch TV! Terrible! And, openly biased and opinionated. |

Lots of streaming content made available for those that log in with CNN accounts and cable providers as well. Streaming content is mt favorite part because I love the HLN original true crime docuseries (such Forensic Files II, How It Really Happened, and Very Scary People) this has been one of my most-used apps!! |
| 2024-11-06 |  | | IMO, CNN is a very good way of getting the latest news about the country's current issues. I would like to say that its coverage of most issues is great journalism. Their coverage of POLITICAL ISSUES is not as balanced as one would hope. This being said, if you want the republican view, switch to FOX! I firmly believe that the current journalists on CNN do an AMAZING JOB, sometimes with very little to work with, and give a view on their take on issues. It's my GO-TO station for the news. |

But I'm rating now the app itself, which is very limited in news. News clips are extremely short, not worth the ad wait for these tiny clips. It doesn't feel like their information is up to date; some things stay in the news forever as if they were intentionally pinned. The app in general is ugly. |

That is why I stopped watching television and listening to the radio. Nonstop Blues Music, best app ever. Zero ads. |
