| 2025-01-13 |  | | Initial impression, awesome. I made a weather app for weather.gov (no ads). This launches the page faster than the firefox equivalent homescreen link. And, it actually dumps out of cache when you dismiss the app from recents!!! While the firefox processes hang around consuming a total of 500mb ram. Thanks! |
| 2024-12-08 |  | | Maybe I'm missing something... There are just too many websites that won't load at all or will not let you sign into. I don't even use the content blocker or any other restrictive settings that would interfere with the functioning of the webpage on my end. There is something about the browser that doesn't interact with webpages the way all my other browsers do. Never had these issues before. Really like the concept of lite apps and sandboxes, but I can only use it with around half of pages. |
| 2024-11-25 |  | | It's honestly not very good, and not worth the money. First off, the RSS notifications? That just doesn't work, period. I put in the feed, tested it, made sure notifications were on, and still nothing ever appeared, even on a feed with a predictable schedule. Second, the browser. It says it just uses the system webview, yet somehow it behaves much worse. Third, page monitor. Not useful because it doesn't run js and only works on the default sandbox. There's more but I'm out of space. |

Another minor annoyance is the in-ability to quickly export apps into launcher app drawers, yes there are work-arounds, but it would be nice to export as an .apk and install it as a native app. |

It's $8 and all the features are locked despite being unlocked and available on my old phone. EDIT: Bumping the score back to 5. Devs replied very quickly and pointed me in the right direction to fixing the issue. Clearing the cache and the data for Google play store fixed the issue and unlocked everything! |

I would like to see the ability to toggle a "stay awake" mode that would at least keep the screen running, but would ideally just keep the page alive in the background so long tasks can keep running. Specifically, I'm using this for connecting to my local network Stable Diffusion and if the screen times out, the phone puts the app in background mode and the job gets lost. |
| 2023-10-14 |  | | Three years later, still using this almost daily. It just works. I don't even think about it - some of my apps just happen to load using Hermit, and again, they just work. In all this time, they've also never pushed a breaking change, so it's stable. Highly recommend experimenting with this on different sites and seeing how it fits your workflow. |
| 2023-05-15 |  | | This is one of the greatest apps I've ever used. I had no idea that "lite apps" could be used so quickly and effectively. I was familiar with creating bookmarks on your phone's home screen, which is basically what this is, but Hermit takes that to a whole new level. It's amazing for when you want to save space. And time, as well, since many apps are bloated these days. |
| 2023-05-15 |  | | I've used this for years. You know what the one blaring problem is? That annoying update prompt. It shuts off the app on some devices making it nearly useless. I have old devices where the version running on it would've worked just fine otherwise. It's irritating because I PAYED for it and now can barely use it on my other devices. This should've been dealt with by now. At least give a script to disable this stupid prompt! |

It just seems too complicated to email you for feedback. Every time I try it says it is deliverable. Did I buy something that won't continue to get updated, or did I get something without any real support? I really hope not. I used the app to send feedback from the settings but they never reach anyone. |
