I find it almost impossible to engage with Sky about reducing the amount I am paying (or ceasing my Sky altogether). They just want to increase my bill and/or sell me additional packages.

On using the my sky app for around 20 minutes, to check my account and after I closed the app I checked with my internet browsers spyware protection and to my horror it appears that using the app for 20 mins had triggered the need to block 1038 tracking attempts !!! What the hell is that for ? Why do they sky ( and it's partners ) need to spy like this ? How much other info have they STOLEN from me ? Do they make money from this ? Even when not using the app it still sends data so goodbye sky
