It's an interesting idea for a service, but there is basically no customer support. My plan was too slow, I've been trying to update but I keep getting an error code. I reached out to support several days ago and I am still waiting to hear back. So far it has been a waste of money. *edit- It was a total waste of money. Barely worked at all. Canceled my subscription. Wait for NVIDIA Geforce NOW to add VR functionality.

Shadow PC has been disappointing. They repeatedly tried to renew my account and charge my card even though the service was canceled and payments were declining. They eventually succeeded in charging me, despite my account being inactive for over 14 days. When I contacted support, they were slow to respond, canceled my account again, and denied my refund request, even though I didn’t use the service. Their policies are unclear, and the overall service isn’t great. Need better communication.

Its a good functioning app. Its essentially a real computer. But as with all streaming services it has one serious drawback. If you are idle for more than 15 minutes it shuts off. Destroying any progress made left unsaved. In call of duty zombies you can imagine the anger and frustration when you go use the bathroom to return to the stream ending prematurely.

I paid for Shadow PC and the payment went through and it says it is running on the web page, but on the app, it says it is still setting up the Shadow PC. It's been almost 3 hours, but I hope it starts up tomorrow. I bough the pc at around 6:30PM and their hours for support ends at 7PM. Maybe they are closed right now for the time being. This is a little strange, but I have used it in the past on android and it worked flawlessly. I contacted support. Now only time will tell!

Absolutely 💯 the best app available period. Key points- I'm on a galaxy S20 Fe with 4g network and can say this app performs almost flawlessly. The major problem I have is the mouse control issue, on a smartphone using touch mode rather than pointer mode is extremely tedious and a shortcut to change between the two should be added to the shadow tool quick shortcuts. I have tried within windows to solve this and alt+win+m doesn't work. Update: Mouse issue was fixed perfectly, a long time ago 🥳

Needs ability to map controls on mobile, I use this service to work in blender and unreal engine and while the service is amazing the limited options in the mobile app are not so much. For example, there is no way to emulate a middle mouse click from default settings. You can download autohotkey or configure individual app settings. But having editable touch controls (even if its just swapping pre set functions) would make this app perfect imo.

This is a very good app alternative to GeForce now if your looking to play specific games. Very well priced and not very laggy if you have good internet. Their VR service is great but it still has its issues, this is overall a great service and I would recommend purchasing if you want to play VR games and other heavy AA/AAA games. Would also recommend having good wifi so it isn't as laggy.

You all need to fix your app when it comes to using T-Mobile. People don't just happen to have Wi-Fi nearby to connect. The purpose people want is to be mobile and on the go. Not sit next to some places that might have ShadowPC unblocked because you can't use this app at McDonald's, the Library, and so on. What I mean by fix it, is there should be no reason to use cloud flare or some VPN in order to connect and you need to fix the app to work with T-Mobile.

Honestly, great experience. Thanks to shadow, I don't need to own a PC at all. I just connect headphones, keyboard, and mouse to my android phone, and I'm all set. It even works with Discord. I use the second screen app to connect my phone to my TV and it's just like I actually still have a PC in my home.

There appears to be a bug with how the Chromecast app is mapping controller inputs. We're using a Switch Pro controller, which the Shadow PC app properly detects, but the controller mappings are completely wrong. For example, on startup, a tip is displayed that says pressing Start + Select will bring up the quick menu. Instead, pressing the triggers brings up the quick menu. The button mappings work correctly when connected directly to a PC running Shadow, but not via Bluetooth on Chromecast.
