2025-01-16 | Absolutely DO NOT nonstop reminder to check apps that have petmission. You provide no option to turn the incessant reminder. WHY? The app also constantly pops up with the overlay notification to allow Camera or not, even without trying to open any app. It also does this when opening an app that is already designated for No Permission. You also incessantly ask if I want your Microphone Blocker. I have it. I don't need to be asked again and again and again and again and again and again. Get it?
2025-01-13 | I don't think this ap really works as advertised, if you turn off the permission for it to overlay other aps on the screen but still have the camera block ap in blocking mode you can still use the camera as normal, the camera isn't disabled at all, the overlay screen it pops up (if permission is given) just prevents you using the ap that wants to use the camera. Spyware using your camera obviously doesn't show an ap onscreen which will then be overlayed blocking it from taking photos.
2025-01-09 | Camera is active then gets blocked a few seconds later. So app isn't 100% effective. One star off for that.
2024-12-21 | A fine app it is. Unfortunately, it doesn' t work on older devices anymore, such as 5.0-Lollipop. Thanks. Good job.
2024-11-26 | It doesn't block anything. The app is in blue color and says to click to unblock the camera, but actually, the camera is working and not blocked by this app! I can take a picture or video without any problems. This app does absolutely nothing. I will be asking for my full refund.
2024-11-12 | I would rate higher, but I have not been able to figure out how to use the blocker on specific apps. I would like to be able to have my camera access blocked, but still allow certain apps to use the camera.
2024-10-31 | great app! I've used this app for couple years now! 3 Days ago' i scanned for viruses on my android 14' and this camera block app was the culprit.. I no longer use the app? give me 2 days I'll be using it again.
2024-10-29 | It appears this only blocks the selfie camera but then that block is defeated by using the phone's back button - you are able to take a picture after clicking the back button even though the icon shows blocked. *Edit - still only the selfie camera is blocked. *Edit - in selfie camera when it's showing blocked on its screen, all you have to do is hit the back button and it will defeat the block and selfie camera works. *Edit - why only the selfie camera is blocked? The rear camera works always
2024-09-30 | camera block is an amazing app, it shows you who's accessing your camera and protects your data & stops your picture being taken by other apps, it's a bit of peace of mind
2024-09-26 | you've fixed most those annoying issues. Why does the back button unblock the camera? I think it should do nothing and just close the dialog box. For some reason the app warns about the camera even when it's disabled in that specific app. I even get warnings on home screen. |
