2023-11-16	darkflux	App doesn't work anymore. It says "To safeguard your data, this application does not support debugging" I'm not debugging the app, just trying to check on my budget... I NEED my phone's USB Debugging feature to be ON, because otherwise, and cannot backup and transfer pictures to my computer. It wouldn't be too hard for the app to just CHECK on startup and see that the phone is not even connected to USB. It's too much effort to turn that off and on every time I want to check my money.
2023-09-14	Jd Boone	Have so many technical issues with this app!!! Edit- here i am years later and this app is the WORSE. Its miserable. I haven't been able to log in going on 7 days now it just sits there loading. BEACON has got to have the absolute worst banking app on the market. If you accidentally get your password wrong only 1 time you have to close out of the app completely before you can try again otherwise it will never let you into your account. ITS BEEN LIKE THIS FOR YEARS!! They still haven't fixed this
2023-03-28	Shannon Wolf	It is March of 2023 and I can't open app. I keep getting error messages and numbers to call despite being able to log in just fine on a computer. Also, won't let me use biometrics. January 2021, Do not like new app. March 2020, App has greatly improved in five years. Thank you. BCU Right now it won't even allow me to log in. I want old version back.
2022-10-23	Katya Comb	UI is blocky, interface is slow. Hire some good UI guys, do a study, get it at least bareable to use. Also: there is NO REASON that the "scroll to see more content" banner should exist. Most of the time it shows on screens that don't even scroll. Just annoying. All in all, good for checking balances and doing transfers. Other than that, go online or in person.
2022-07-11	Jerry Miller	It's an okay app if you need to check your balance. However, it is constantly asking to send verification codes even if you're using it from the exact same place twice within the same day. The check deposit function almost never works, so good luck with those pictures. There is no live feedback. Just call and save the time. It's a shame, because Beacon is a very good credit union with great in-person service.
2022-05-26	Logan Boyd	Always slow; nothing else on my phone is ever slow so I know it's the app. Yes the app is functional but I dont want to spend 5 to 10 minutes waiting for the load screen every time. Now there have been times where the app was fast, but lately it's always slow. Update: I've tried this app on galaxy a20, iPhone 11, iPhone 13, and galaxy flip 3. I've tried this app on local wifi and through mobile data. 6 months later and it's not any faster
2022-03-17	Jake White	I've used Beacon and this app for years. A couple years ago, it was "updated." First, it lost the fingerprint capability. While it lasts fingerprints as an option, it does not remember I have it set up. Get your password wrong once and the app won't let you in for about twelve hours. It doesn't tell you this, of course -- just totally bugs out after any subsequent attempt. This used to work so well, shame to try to use it now. Transferring my money to a bank with a functional mobile presence.
2022-03-06	David Prows	I am baffled by all the negative reviews. There's obviously an issue somewhere, but I've used this app without issues on Samsung Galaxy S20 and Flip 3 since they came out with it. I'm in Fort Wayne with great coverage. So maybe that's why I don't have issues. Maybe the app needs to be better optimized for low bandwidth connections. Anyway, the app works great and is better than other financial institutions I use.
2022-01-17	Allen Hetzner	Absolutely worst app ever! worse than before. Sometimes takes 2 times to sign in or never get signed in..this has been going on since the change and they won't fix it......update 1/17/22 just when I didn't think this app could get any worse. Well Beacon has proved me wrong. This app went from bad to horrible. It almost never opens. I gotten rid of app and reinstalled it hell I even got a new phone. I try and restart my phone and the app is just plain horrible and never opens. Less than 0 rated
2022-01-16	Erica Farmer	The app has some serious issues. I can't be on wifi, have blutooth on, or be synced to my car. I can't be on a phone call or have any other app running. It freaks out and just spins. Forever. I've have to uninstall and reinstall twice. Please fix it. 2 stars only because I can pull up my statements on the fly and do immediate transfers.
