I have a Bluetooth ceiling light and this new updated app only connects to wifi bulbs I don't have a wifi bulb. Also my light is only 2 months old ans no longer supported??? Fix this app please. My light worked just fine before it made me update the app.

It's a pity that you cannot schedule 2 programs one after the one. I give an example: I've put the connected bulbs on my driveway and I would like them to be "high" from 7pm to 10pm and then "soft" from 10pm to 6am. I've tried many times but one program erases the previous one. It's really a shame.... Also there's a bug, sometimes at 6pm there's 1 to 3 bulbs (it depends) that start.

In the beginning it worked great. (Circa 2018)Now it's pathetic and painful to use. Is never connected. Doesn't automatically connect to WiFi (the WiFi plug). Is always offline in my smart home. It's about 5 feet away from an AP. Pure garbage. Just use Shelly or any other company. My 120x60 light randomly died. Had to replace it. When the other 2 lights die I'll trash the WiFi plug with them. Do not recommend. Do not purchase their products.

Have been using the app for a few months without issues. But as of yesterday, when trying to turn off my lights, or change the colour, or do literally anything else, just nothing happens. I press the button and no response at all. Because of that, I also tried the new app (HomeControl), which... also doesn't work.

It's a certainly an app for your lamp. It has the basic functions of on/off and switch colour and fun other features. But it's not really functional, it takes forever to detect the lamp, sometimes multiple button presses are needed to select the lamp or to just turn it off. Even close to the router with 500mbps it goes slow. So, it's not great, a little bit annoying but it doesn't have ads and it works, I'll give you that!

As a front-end engineer myself I must say the user experience in this app is quite bad. In addition to that the app is often unresponsive at launch, making you wait several minutes before you can control the light. I also don't understand why the app needs location access to connect via bluetooth to a device just a couple of meters away. This is clearly a low effort app, made just good enough to where you can barely control your devices. DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THEIR HARDWARE!

First impressions are mixed, the product itself seems to function well, however I had difficulties with the app, first discovering a light bulb, then with the connection process (factory mode), and also the update failed for the first time, had to run the fw update again. In addition, I miss some key features from the app like timer or automatic fading/flashing colors option, which features are even included in most cheap alibaba bulbs. Take this feedback to improve!

I recently noticed a bug in the app. When you go to Schedule and Dawn simulator and select the days, the day will select, but it doesn't light up. So I can't see which days I've selected. My bulb is the ElgoBulb A60, I've tried everything to solve the issue. (Restart the app, reinstall the app, Restart my phone, reset the bulb.) It would be good, if you could solve the bug as soon as possible. Thank You.

It's quite bad. I guess it's hardware limitation in the led bulps to not be able to have more than one controller connected at one time, but that's the first con. Second is, there's huge potential to many different modes, but there's basically just four. White, color, "smooth" which doesn't have any control over it and voice, which has tremendous lag, because it uses phone's mic and bluetooth. Half of the time the app doesn't even recognize the bulp. Bug I believe that's also hardware limitation

Does not appear to work with the EGLO panel lights. My landlord says it does, but it obviously does not. Because when I click on the + symbol to add device, nothing ever shows up. Regardless of the fact that I have both Bluetooth and WiFi on. And have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Looking for guidance on how to make this work.
