This application is great until you need customer support. I followed the instructions verbatim for adding multiple devices and changing numbers, but I now need a 'push' notification to access it on the new number. No push notification received. None of the links on the support page work. Customer service is unreachable. Get a yubikey instead.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS. You not safe using this, it will cause you move problems Back in the day it was ok now its beyond a disaster. You can get easily screwed over and not get access to anything - it will happily lock you out and block access. You can't add multi devices easily if at all. Changing numbers can end up locking you out forever. The UI changes are also horrible, makes the experience worse and were not needed.

Horrible UI update and what I'm guessing is increased memory/caching overhead makes it almost impossible to switch from one app to Authy, grab the correct OTP, and switch back to the original app without the original app completely reloading or the OTP time-limit being reached. Will be looking into other avenues for 2FA, provided I can find a way to successfully export my data from Authy w/o losing it in the process.

Garbage app. Recently redesigned UI in a manner that was 10 steps backwards. Also doesn't allow you to see your tokens, making it difficult to move to another authenticator if the occasion arises. Requires Google Play Integrety Check, even though it's meaningless, meaning you can't use rooted devices. Removed their desktop app for literally zero reason.

New UI is harder to use and feels cramped. No dark mode. Some of my icons don't show anymore untill you edit, but then it goes back to a key. it's hard to find the account you're looking for. Edit after a month: The more I use the new UI, the more I despise it. It doesn't remember the previous account selected, but it remembers the scroll. The transition on the timeout is misleading since it makes you think you have time when you don't to enter the code. I'm going to look for a different app.

Would give 5 stars except for the new UI. Why'd they just get rid of that, the old UI had a dark mode! Additionally, the reorganizing of logins is atrocious in grid mode, it's so easy to screw up the order of them! The new UI needs to be fixed. Also, now that they've ditched the desktop app (which I do get, that's a lot to maintain) I have less and less reason to stick with this app.

New UI is absolutely terrible, makes it much harder to find the proper site and get the code. Used to be able to search for the site name even if it wasn't in the account but now you just have to look through a whole bunch of icons, some of which are outdated or wrong. (some acccounts have the site name, some don't, unsure why, was not an issue before) If it's not improved soon I will have to waste my time migrating to another app because Authy is barely usable anymore.

Really annoying. Haven't needed to use for a couple years so when I finally got it on my current device I couldn't remember my backup codes or passwords for stuff I needed at the moment. And they have no helpful way to help you reset some of the stuff or to allow you to get new access with your new device. It makes things really frustrating.

I have been using Authy for years, & it has always been a 5 star for me. I really hated it when they dropped the desktop version. But the most recent change to the app really sucks. The account name used to be big, and I could easily find the one I was looking for, now the numbers are big and the names are tiny! Who thought this was a good idea? Don't you need to FIND the account you want first? I use list view, as the other view is even worse as 80% of my icons are the same. Fix please.

The new user interface is awful! The icon mode uses a too-big font for entry labels, only allowing the first six characters of a name to be visible in icon mode and the list mode is ugly and too cluttered with numbers to be easily read. It's also a security risk to display the codes for items I'm not currently interested in. Dark mode has been removed, so my eyes get blasted every time I need a code. I would be very happy if the whole UX change was reversed. That said, I still like and use it.
