This has lowkey been my favorite game lately. It's not a hard game, but it is fun to discover new places and recipes for things and collect cool monsters as pets to fight with. It rewards good planning, memory and good character builds in a way that is fun to play in multiple different styles. Also, there is no wiki so you actually have to experiment a little for yourself. Highly underappreciated game imo and has a good soundtrack with addissional in game collectibles that unlock new tracks.

I'm going to give this game a solid 5 stars, however it does need some accessibility fixes. The main one is, creating characters, for some reason it takes like it won't let me select the start button until I have to swipe with two fingers many times until it reaches that section, screen readers are hard to navigate with this game

An enhanced version of the original game that is well worth the few dollars to support the creator. This game has a heavy learning curve that rewards the student, for every permadeath failure is a chance to learn something new and get better. If you don't like that, turn permadeath off. This game doesn't use heavy graphics to tell the story, your imagination and planning will fill the gaps. It's great when you have time to spare on the commute or waiting in general.

Not gonna lie I basically came back to the first game because I loved it, and saw that a second one was made, normally I do not pay money for apps, but I wanted to support the creator so I made an exception. Now this game is a step up from the last one, multiple races, classes, and a hep of fun still, if you're looking for a RPG or something that is infinitely replayable, I highly recommend this. I would say more but 500 maximum characters.

It's a nice executive of the genre. Its just not balanced. There are enemies on 90 percent of the tiles. You die if you fight 90 percent of them. There is no way to really tell of you are capable of taking on any fight until you trade a hit. After that you probably still die because the enemy kills you trying to flee. You can get healed up, but it takes a lot of gold, which until you can fight and win, you just cant really get.

I love this game, I love all of these games, they are fun and not overly complicated, no fancy graphics that lag out my phone, it's offline and can be played anywhere from home or on break at work. However, why four stars? Because I am having an issue, this game lags randomly and it's crashed on me a few times! And when I reload it was the last place I slept so I have to do all that jazz over again ;-; if I find a fix or an update fixes it, 5 stars, easy!

I played the first one a TON and this one is everything and more. So happy I went back to find the first after a few years and saw RAR II. If you like roguelike games, or even just open world RPGs, and dont mind the text based theme it's definitely worth a try. This one is so cool with the different classes, pets, character types and, sailing to new biomes to find new things. You can even enter dungeons that are different mini maps with bosses. To the dev, this blew me away, major props! :D<3

Great game. There's a bit of steep learning curve and it can get tedious to restart repeatedly if you keep getting bad luck on getting attacked/escaping and die early on. However, it's definitely fun to try out lots of the species/classes, and trying to strategize bit by bit to get a little further each run is the good part of the game. One thing - I play on 2 different devices, and it would be nice to be able to sync between them, or at least export/import saves to keep playing the same game regardless of device.

It's a great game, makes a whole bunch of improvements to the original, which was already super good. I just started it yesterday, and the only problem I'm having is that I don't know which tiles I've explored after using that item that shows every tile on the island. Maybe unexplored tiles that you can still see should be greyed out so you know if they've already been stepped on. Also, do you think multiplayer would ever be possible?

I love the unique concept, but the execution is lacking. Character creation teases you with lots of unique abilities, but once you actually get into the game, combat feels far too simple for any of your choices to matter. You also have to flee from virtually every monster, because the cost to heal at an inn is far higher than the rewards you get from combat. The developer seems very kind and willing to act on feedback, so I'd be happy to change my review if the gameplay improves.
