2024-10-06 | She has free recipes on her website. I have 2 Annabel Karmel books. The app says "free with in app purchases". I thought maybe she has bonus stuff for a fee or maybe there's a donation thing but no straight away it asking for a subscription of $50 a year. I paid about $25 for her books. Maybe I would consider a one off $25 for the app, but I wouldn't even use it for more then a year. It doesn't have the production cost of a book nor can I hand it down to someone. Library is free also.
2024-09-17 | Great selection of meals. I always find it helpful when I have an ingredient and I don't know what to make with it - I can just search and find a whole variety of meals. Only rated it 4 stars as the UX does let itself down - filter function sometimes breaks, going back and forth between recipes is clunky. It would also be useful to have a history button so you can see what you looked at previously. Otherwise you have to favourite your recipes but I often forget to do that!
2024-09-11 | Edit: issue now fixed. App is good for recipes and ideas you may not have thought about keeping baby interested in different foods
2024-09-02 | Keeps crashing for the last few days whenever you tap into a recipe, very poor from a paid app.
2024-09-02 | App is slow to load, and recently it crashes when I try to read a recipe.
2024-08-20 | I've loved using this app up to this point, it's extremely easy to use and has fantastic recipes for babies & kids! I'll definitely continue to use it as my kids get older
2024-08-12 | Great selection of recipes to choose from and can choose by age or type (e.g breakfast / snacks). Recipes are mostly easy to make and usefully tells which can be frozen etc. App is easy to navigate and I love the search by ingredient feature, which makes it useful when trying to use up food in the fridge! Fantastic for BLW, but also has purees to make too.
2024-08-11 | Great range of recipes. The app is also full of useful tips and advice to take you through all the stages of weaning.
2024-08-04 | I love this app, it has an endless selection of meal options for babies at any stage of weaning. I particularly love the search option, which you can search for a particular ingredient or age group. I also have one of Annabel's wearing books, which I love, but the app makes it so much easier and quicker.
2024-08-02 | Brilliant app, really easy to use, clear and simple. Includes a weaning hub with lots of information and tutorials. You can search recipes using keywords such as ingredients and can filter by age/meal time and dietary requirements. Recipes are suitable for the whole family, even my husband is eating Annabel's pasta! |
