Alerts are close to impossible to find on the APP. There is no reason X is the primary source of cancelation or other train/ station information when there is an APP. There is no way to see fare differences or availability for a range of dates. Can not see when, why, where train issues causing delays are. Can not see the train consists or choose a specific seat/room. Like the e ticket functions

I always have an easy time navigating the app, the features. The only thing I feel could use improvement is the timeliness of the status text messages. There always a lag between real-time information and the text I usually get after the fact (train delays, track changes, etc). If I was only looking for a text or email to update me, I'd miss my train every time! Also, would appreciate café car service every train between Albany /NYC. This is a premier commuter train-beverages & snacks at least
