2025-01-28 | Stressful. It used to let me log in, but now, every time I try, it says that "something went wrong." Even though it is the correct password and username. It's annoying because I can't check my cameras, change my thermostat, or lock my doors from the app. Wish I didn't change from my old security system, this one sucks! | ||
2025-01-23 | received a black Friday offer and financially it was great with other things like cell and internet that came after. honestly it was extremely frustrating with the techs that set it up in all options even internet and cell. however they resolved it slowly eight frustrating months later. I have a contract that ends in November. since the issues have been fixed I am say at 6 out of 10 to continue. | ||

I've tried over and over again to set up my other family member so they can log into the app on their phone, but the instructions on the (equally frustrating) support page don't match what appears when you follow the steps. I do like that I can check, arm and disarm the system from my phone, but other household members need to be able to do the same. | ||
2024-11-30 | Scheduling feature for our smart plug stopped working months ago. Have tried to fix it but no luck. Can manually control the plug from the app, but, schedule does nothing. Also, ridiculously clunky interface where you need to use both the app and the web UI. Pretty embarrassing in 2024. | ||
2024-11-26 | The camera doesn't record movement when I KNOW there's been movement. There's also issues the with app and it just stays on the loading page.... All in all you might want to save money and go elsewhere. Maybe a different device you monitor yourself, with better quality apps and products. A few good things... The actual house panel is well laid out and easy to use. It also takes photos every time someone puts the password in. The house senors seem to work well, so that's good atleast. | ||
2024-11-21 | The app no longer sends notifications to any of the recipients. The app itself is okay but not very intuitive. The entire system is a nightmare though. Nothing connects well. The camera barely detects anything even after calibration and the front door records maybe 1 out of 5 detections. I stood in front of the garage camera waving and the darn thing didn't even detect me or record. Then when no one is there, it records and detects my parked car in the driveway as a moving vehicle. 0 stars | ||
2024-11-21 | Do not recommend! I have a doorbell cam that barely works, is poor quality, and has malfunctiond a handful of times. I have the app set to the most sensitive setting, and it has missed a car accident in front of my house, as well as instances of me checking the mail. It has stopped recording while people rang bell and waited (useless to catch porch pirates in the act). If I check the camera it often stops after a few seconds and I get a "play" button. I'm often met with a retry/troubleshoot. | ||
2024-11-17 | I ordered home security, and It's disappointing. I'm not sure if it's the app or camera, but it doesn't record a lot of the time. This is not a security service to rely on. Also, it seems that whenever I really need to log in and check on the house, the app almost always never loads. I've called telus, and they try to fix things on their end, but it never works. They just waste my time, and they trap you in a 3 year contract. | ||
2024-10-28 | Tripped our smoke detector when cooking the other night. While I was ON my phone pulling up my notes app to get the code, they called and the phone barely rang ONCE for me to pick it up to tell them we were fine. I disarmed the panel, and they spoke to my husband, who told them everything was fine. 10 minutes later, the fire department shows up at our house. Why? We disarmed the panel, AND you spoke to my husband, who told you we were fine. What a waste of taxpayer money and how embarrassing. |
