2025-01-10 | The store is great. Their app not so much. If I don't sign out of my profile every single time that I use the app the next time I open it it just says ugh cuz this is frustrating. We're experiencing problems on our end. I then have to uninstall the app and reinstall it to be able to use it. It's been this way for 2 years now. I've called to report it still 2 years later. Still the same problem every single time | ||
2025-01-10 | Absolutely horrible revisions made to this happen that have bogged down the platform and made it one of the slowest responding apps I have ever attempted to use. Multiple error messages popping up all of the time. I don't know who the developers are for this app, but Advance Auto Parts should consider hiring a different team of developers because they're getting ripped off. FYI: my phone is a top tier brand phone with an excellent processing chip set. All other applications work perfectly fine. | ||
2024-12-10 | Overall it is a easy to use app. The search function within the app isn't that great. Just use Google to search for what you are looking for at Advance and then click on the link to switch to the app and buy from there is the way I get around the search functionality issue. The speed perks function is nice, but I do wish they had an allowance for the military discount online like they do if you go in-store. | ||
2024-11-13 | Something changed to make the loading of the app even slower. It shows the logo splash screen for like 20 seconds before you can even get into the app. So I just bail and don't use it anymore. I don't have the patience for a slow clunky app. The categories to find parts are duplicated many times. It's a lot messier and harder to find stuff compared to the website. The app is very slow to load and move through the checkout process too. | ||
2024-10-20 | The concept and Idea is great, but the app is not optimized at all. The response time on almost anything that you do including adding stuff to your car and checking out individual items is super slow. adding an item to my shopping cart can take up to 10 seconds before it finally refreshes and registers properly. | ||
2024-10-18 | App takes forever to open either from clicking on the app directly or from a Google search and clicking on the part. I can't stand using Advance Auto Parts due to that. Follow up to reply. It's happened on all phones I've had over the last few years, phone service is not the issue weather wifi or network. It happens all the time and none of my other apps have the issue. My friends have the same slow opening on their phones also. | ||
2024-10-13 | Placed a same day delivery, wasn't delivered within 24 hours. Called to find out where it was, since the app stated it had been picked up. The store said the order was still waiting pickup, and the store employee called their customer service who stated they had no record of the order. There's a bug here, but most of all, an employee should have notified me of the issue when a same day delivery order is still at the store the next day. And it's impossible to get my mil discount on the app. | ||
2024-09-19 | Well all of a sudden the app is no longer available for my phone. Time to find another parts store, because the help at our local store is some of the worse service anywhere in town and the only way I was ever able to get the right part or be able to get parts they said were bot in stock was on line with this app. Used to be 4.5 stars. At least now I have more room for pictures on my phone. | ||

In response to the developer, to get 5*, I'd have to say more of the refurb (rebuilt) part availability, sometimes that's the budget some of us customers are working with and that would save me from having to go search the salvage yards just to get parts a little cheaper than brand new.. | ||
2024-07-22 | Their current app is repulsive compared to the past. I feel like I'm trying to buy something from the cat in the hat. Colors don't work, fonts are too large. I've been a customer here for years, but this is the worst app design I've seen out of everything on my phone. Reply: Yes thank you re the font size adjustment. The colors, there are too many. Branding colors, banners, reds and greens...not good if one is color blind. Just go to black font color and let us read something is out of stock. |
