there's no way to tell this app when you have an illness or injury, so it just shames you for not getting as many steps as last month or being less active than others in your demographic. It also equates weight loss with health, which is uninformed at best and actively harmful for most people. so a lot of the articles are pretty terrible because they are pushing that rhetoric. it does eventually pay out, but I'm less sure every year if that is worth the price of interacting with it.

It used to be a great app to earn gift cards for walking and exercise. But a few months ago, they changed the point system. Previous I would earn enough points at least 2 - 3 times a year to cash in, now with the updated point system it will take me almost a whole year or more to get enough points to cash in for a gift card. I'm disappointed, to say the least. :(
