2024-09-10 | An addictive game involving strategy more than anything. It's not like the "relationship" type games where the goal is making "life decisions" that affect your story. You're basically leveling up an infant through childhood with their education and skills as points, and have to strategize to reach MAXIMUM ADULTHOOD. But you're also rewarded with a variety of endings customized to your life path.
2024-08-08 | No matter what, or time of day, or things going on, I find myself drawn back to this glorious game. It takes strategy, repetition, reactions, and a genuine goal. You get invested in each character, for better or for worse. Life isn't all sunshine and rainbows and getting to work through them, help your friends work through the dark storm clouds, hoping to be able to give them the best outcome THIS time? It's so indepth and intuitive, emotional and rational, tense and exciting. I'm addicted.
2024-04-01 | Gorgeous game I'm just a little bad at the exams. And I wish there was more than 4 stories. Although I can say that nate's story was amazing and I loved His song .. I found a way around the. Game not having too many story lines because After I've done. Every romance Route I thought existed. I'm finding more that. I thought you could only be friends with.. I'm also very invested in getting more and more careers finished. It's a very, very good game, probably one of my favorite games ever.
2023-07-07 | Will this game ever have DLC or updates? I think it has the potential to be furthered. I would love to support that idea. Don't get me wrong, this game was well written, the different paths you can have as male or female and romance options or non romance. It's great. I love when games don't over compensate and force you to buy IAP to complete a BASE game. This game does not do that. You can rest assured that it's satisfying to play. The music and art brings the whole 90s vibe together.
2023-04-10 | It's plenty fun, I just wish more characters would be added and there could be more meaningful interaction with parents. The game can get addicting, but once you've gone through each character's story, it can get boring and repetitive. If this game gets an update my review way change, but it's a bit monotonous after I've gone through all of the endings.
2023-03-21 | This is a fantastic game I've played it multiple times on my phone and I even have it on my laptop as well. I love this game so much, the art style and story writing is phenomenal. My only suggestions are that the interactions with the parents be more fleshed out, also make other family members to interact with such as siblings, grandparents etc. , Being able to own a pet would be a nice addition and more fleshed out interactions with your friends. Otherwise this game is amazing, keep it up!
2022-12-16 | Gameplay Loop - Addictive; Art & Sound - Beautiful; Replayability - High (IMO); Writing - Compelling; Mini Games - 'jewel drop' & and unlocking brain nodes (LOVE THIS ONE); Value For Price - High; This game will divide a lot of people. If you like repeating gameplay loops where you are always angling to improve this time, or vary tactics, it is great. NPCs have assigned sexual orientations! There is none of the 'make every NPCs bi, but only if propositioned by the player' stuff. I LOVE IT!
2022-12-13 | Fun game overall and can suck you in, especially in the first playthrough. It would be nice to have more varied parent interactions, or possibly some sort of expansion to a different city later on. I think the game set out to achieve a well mapped goal, and they sufficiently did that. Worth spending the few dollars to play it, and would be interested to see if they take it further in the future.
2022-11-19 | Addicting to play, but not much depth. I played through 2 and a quarter "lives" and there's not much going on in this game. It's similar to Princess Maker styled games, but with no depth. You need to balance happiness and parental expectations, but it's super easy. In both completed games I maxed out 3 stats, with all related skills mastered, without any issue. Main reason I dropped it was because the stories they have started to repeat on my 3rd playthrough. Also the pacing is super weird.
2022-07-06 | Really like this game. Surprisingly complex, diverse characters, considering it's short game. The parents seem to be game mechanic tools rather than actual characters, but I guess that's to be expected. My main issue is that the save feature doesn't seem to work. It also won't connect to my Google Play account, so I'm not getting any achievements. Which isn't a huge problem, but it's a bummer. I prefer this on the pc, for this reason. I like being able to make use of the save feature. |
