| 2025-02-04 |  | | Back to the basics. Focusing on game play versus rating. I have played against 13+ ratings, and won. Utilizing and remembering the roles and point system. 7 out of 10 players, with 12+ rank player, may rely on right brain, instead of left, relative to center control. After 30 moves, I have to invert, retrack, maintain rules, and wait. Check out a few of my games. And I invite and welcome players. Best App. |
| 2023-12-09 |  | | Ads are too loud, full screen, and won't let you answer the phone while until the timer counts down. The interface is buggy. It forces landscape on startup, but sometimes it does not happen, and everything gets scrunched together in portrait mode. Ads also play in landscape mode. Due to the colors used and small fonts, it's difficult or impossible to read what is on the screen. It appears this game is made to be played on a tablet, not a phone. Other than that, it's just another chess game. |
| 2023-08-09 |  | | LET ME GET THIS REAL STRAIGHT ABOUT THE RATING SYSTEM. I play a flawless game (no blunders, mistakes, and inaccuracies and win to get + 6 points? I make more when my opponent forfeits a game or disconnection. Meanwhile, my opponent, regardless of his rank over me, makes all the errors he can and is rewarded 2x, more if not higher points. Even if I played that bad, the app is saying 1 loss > 2 - 3 wins. LOL The setup is long overdue for an update. |
| 2022-12-21 |  | | The game has issues where the computer doesn't move at their turn at the start of the game. Minutes go by and the black piece doesn't move. Then there's the issue of not being able to see the checkmate because the screen changes. October 2021 update sucks. Can't save games, can't undo stalemate, looks terrible! Bring back the old version & let people see how the checkmate happen before closing the game! Lousy app!! Feb2022: now the game freezes too often & has issues with connecting to servers. |

Sitting there waiting for about 2 min while they periodically hop in and out the game in hopes you resign is frustrating. 30 sec idle should yield a win for that other player. Graphics are good, competition is good as well |
| 2022-07-09 |  | | Quite possibly the worst chess app in the history of chess apps! In the puzzle part they make taking other pieces a priority over a single move the puts the opponent in mate. Seriously?! Also, in the puzzle part, pieces that should be on the board, according to what's been eliminated aren't there. Not sure if the developer(s) even know how to play chess. I would give this a -11 star rating if I could. This game is a disgrace to the game! |

Malicious people can have you wsiting for no apparent reason other than to be sore losers. Other than that, great app. Update: This last update making me start to like the app less and less. STOP CHANGING THE BOARD. It was perfect and would never need changed. You could add different colors or something, but always keep option for default & leave orientation alone. New view sucks for me. |
| 2021-07-21 |  | | This app is great if you just want to casually play chess against random opponents. Nobody is copying opening lines. Everbody is in it for fun, but the rating system is terrible. You aren't matched with someone around you ELO. So there is no telling who you'll be up against. If you play a game against someone lower than you just to enjoy a quick match. You will get severely punished if you lose and no reward for winning. The ladder is very tedious to scale. |
| 2021-05-24 |  | | If i might make one critique it would be that's I've noticed a couple bugs in the chat box: A. It doesnt work sometimes on mobile device. B. It doesnt recognize emojis. Also it would be soo badass if there were a way to automatically translate to the language of choice of the user. Just saying.. Honestly though this is a great app I have used for a long time and will continue to use a long time from now. You guys rock & thank you. |
| 2021-04-11 |  | | Really nice app except for a couple of things... Alot of people disconnect on you if they are losing and make you sit and wait for timer to deplete. Can't load your profile if you change devices and so you lose rating and saved games. I was at 1400 when this happened. Another thing is that you can't add people to a friend or like to replay list. Wish you could, there have been some good players who I would've like to play again. They need to add a warning when time is about up. |
