2025-01-18 | An extraordinary little application. Difficult to find anything better, congratulations to the people who developed it!
2024-12-29 | Great fun, sounds awesome but the interface needs to be brought up to current release. Update: bummer! It no longer functions on any of my devices. Android 14.
2024-03-25 | Please fix! the settings icon no longer works, rendering this app I use often unusable
2024-01-29 | It used to be totally programmable with different scales and higher functions. Some how it got updated and all functionality has been erased. Now it's just a glorifies kids game. Too bad, it used to be a great ap.
2023-09-26 | Awesome app!! However, I found a bug with the current version on my new device. The 'settings' icon often only works once, afterwards it doesn't open the settings menu at all. Using a Pixel 5a w/ Android 13.
2022-10-11 | I've just installed it on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 6 Lite running Android 12, but the gear icon at the bottom right of the screen doesn't seem to do anything. I tap it and nothing happens. So I installed it on my phone, a Samsung Galaxy Note8, and on the phone, tapping the gear icon brings up the Settings menu. Maybe because the phone is running Android 9 and the tablet is running Android 12? I sent the developer an email, but it was bounced, so I'm not sure if it's still being supported.
2022-06-01 | NodeBeat is a classic, having been in the game for a long time. Great at simple and straightforward generative music. But in 2022, I would really love an update with some new features. Perhaps choosing new samples for percussion for starters? It doesn't do everything but it has a great and straightforward interface. I wouldn't want to clutter it up. But if it could do even just a *little* bit more I'd be using it a lot.
2021-07-04 | Great little app Update: another 5 stars for Android 11 support. Missed this app! Need midi out :-(
2021-04-06 | When I installed the app, I got the message that it may not be compatible with my version of android. Indeed, all I got was a blank screen with no settings, menu, or anything else. Pressing anywhere on the screen gave absolutely no feedback from the app. Uninstalled and refunded immediately. Very disappointed, as I was hoping a special needs student would be able to use this to take part in my electronic music class.
2021-03-23 | If only, it ran on my most recent Android phone. I've had this beautiful app since Blackberry Playbooks were a thing... seriously. It's a gorgeous beat sequencer that is super intuitive and even an excellent tool for children to explore electronic music. Unfortunately, it is out of date and finally stopped working on my newer Android phone as of 2021. |
